Part 12 : Parents

Dorothy had been informed by Emilia what happened .
"I can't believe she did that" said Dorothy ." I won't let her mess me up"

Sean and Dorothy loved each other dearly . After weeks of dating,Sean asks " do you think you are ready to meet my mom?"
"I guess" said Dorothy.

Sean brings Dorothy into his mother's home. Dorothy had a nervous look on her face . "Don't worry" says Sean while holding her hand tightly. Sean's mother, Kimberly comes out.
Sean: Mom, this is my girlfriend..Dorothy.

Kimberly wasn't that against it but she was a bit confused by how young Dorothy looked.

Kimberly:" Wow, you look..young. What's your job? How old are you?
Dorothy:Actually....
Sean stops Dorothy from saying anything.
Sean: Mom, stop asking personal questions
Sean didn't want his mother to go against their relationship .

-Kimberly and Sean have a conversation-
Kimberly: How's Tanya.
Sean: I don't know. I don't contact her anymore.
Kimberly: Why did you guys break up?
Sean: she was a bad person . Trust me, Dorothy is one of the sweetest girls I've ever met. You will love her.
Kimberly: I believe you

-Dorothy's home-

Dorothy's father, Don had come back after working outside the country. He did not know anything about the relationship. After he found out, he was enraged. "Ask her to come home NOW" Angela had a worried look on her face.

-As soon as Dorothy received a text from Angela-

Dorothy to Sean: I need to go home.
Sean : I'll drive you
Dorothy: No , my dad's in a bad mood. He can't see you

Dorothy goes home and sees her dad sitting on the couch with an angry look on his face.
Dorothy : Dad?
Don: How DARE you. You're a disgrace. Dating a teacher ? Someone older than you? Disgusting.
Dorothy: it isn't that deep
Don: Break up, NOW
Dorothy: NO,he's a good man . Please don't do this
Don: get out . Get out of my sight.

Dorothy goes into her room and slams the door.

Angela: Don't you think you were too harsh?
Don: I Won't allow that relationship . NEVER.
Angela: Don, what is this behaviour? Open your heart
Don: stop talking .
Angela: You know what . You're so annoying . Bless me for being able to handle you

Angela leaves Don alone

Angela knocks on Dorothy's door
Angela: Dorothy are you okay?
Dorothy: I don't know
Angela: Don't hate your father. He will warm up. I'm sure
Dorothy : will he though? I know him. He won't
