Your POV

It was another normal, quiet day in McDuck manor. Webby was busy practicing her archery, and you were in your recording studio, trying to record a guitar part for a song you were writing. Everything was quiet until Webby came squealing into your room. "(Y/n)! (Y/n)! (Y/n)!" She screamed. "Guess what?"

"What happened this time? Louie got stuck in the couch looking for coins?" You asked, setting down your guitar and going into your main room with Webby.

"Well, that, and Granny bought us a cookie making kit! We can finally make Scrooge some chocolate chip cookies!" She squealed.

"Wait, what?!" You asked. "Really?!"

"Really, really!" Webby replied. You were both holding hands, jumping up and down and screaming. At that moment, Huey barged in on you two.

"Um, I appreciate that you guys are excited, but can you please keep it down?" He asked.

"NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, HUEY!" You and Webby said at the same time.

You both ran into the kitchen and read the directions. "Wow! 'Just add milk'! I'm impressed!" You said, looking at the box for the cookie dough. You and Webby grabbed a bowl and a mixing whisk and set to work. Huey came to work alongside you girls because he wanted more experience with baking ever since he got his baking badge. While you were making the cookie dough, you saw that Huey kept staring at you, and when you looked at him, he quickly looked away and went back to baking. There's been something odd going on with him lately, You thought. And you were going to find out what it was. Eventually, you got the cookies in the oven and were waiting for them to bake.

"PULL WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT!" You screamed. You, Huey and Webby were pulling Louie's legs to get him out of the couch. Very shortly, his upper body and head popped out from the couch cushions.

"Got it!" He exclaimed, holding up a small coin. Then he looked at it and scowled. "Gah! A stupid penny?!" Huey giggled.

"It could be the start of a fortune, Lad," You/Scrooge's voice chastised, wagging your finger at him like your uncle. Huey and Webby burst out laughing.

"Wait, how did you even do that?!" Huey and Louie asked in shock.

"I ate something in Gyro's lab called The Impression pill. Just think of anyone and your voice can become their's," You explained. "Do you think I had that fever for no reason?"

"Oh, yeah," Huey replied.

"Did you check the guidebook on that, Hubert?" You/Huey's voice added smugly, which sent Webby collapsing on the floor laughing.

"OOOOOOHHH!!!!" Louie yelled. "You might want to put some ice on that, Hubert because  YOU JUST GOT BURNED!!!" Everyone was laughing until you heard the timer for the cookies go off. You pulled on some oven mitts and ran to take out the cookies. They were a beautiful golden brown, and everyone came in to look at them.

"Guys," You said as you all stared in shock. "We made this." Outside, you heard a car skid and a crash, and you all knew that Scrooge was home. You and Webby stifled giggles. The door opened, and you heard sniffing coming from the foyer.

"Oooh my, what is that heavenly smell?" Scrooge asked in awe as he drifted to the kitchen.

"That smell, Uncle Scrooge," You said. "Is the smell of chocolate chip cookies, your dessert for tonight."

"Um, if I may..." He asked. "Can I at least try one?"

"Go right ahead! That will be five dollars," Louie said, his palm outstretched. Scrooge stood there, folded his arms and scowled at Louie. "Oops. I mean, go on ahead!" He was pulling at his sweatshirt collar. Scrooge took in the amazing scent and took a bite of a cookie. He let out a sigh of amazement.

"These are some of, if not the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had! We'll indulge in them after dinner," He smiled. "For now, though, go up and get washed up. We're having Brisket tonight!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After dinner, everyone was indulging in the amazing cookies. Your parents bought several more boxes of cookie mix so you could make more because Scrooge practically ate them all. But the night wasn't over. A little while on, Huey came up to you while everyone was busy eating cookies and pulled you into the foyer. "(Y/n), there's something that I've been meaning to tell you for a long time," He said, holding your hands. "Um, I like you. Like, like like you." Inside your brain, you were screaming, HA! I knew it! But you tried to look shocked on the outside.
"Oh, Huey-" You started.
"You don't feel the same, do you?" He asked sadly, sitting on the floor. You didn't know how to approach this, but then you made up your mind.
"Huey, I'm really flattered," You said. "But I don't think I'm ready for a relationship quite yet. But we can still be friends, " You said, helping him up on his feet. He started rubbing his other arm. "You understand, right?"
"Yeah," He said, still not making eye contact with you.
"Hey, will it make you feel any better if I danced with you?" You asked.
"That actually would be kind of fun," He smiled. "Dewey! Cue the music!"
"Way ahead of you," Dewey called. He pressed play on a boombox and tango music started pouring out of it. You took each other's hands and waltzed across the foyer. The adults and other kids came in to watch. You threw in some tango moves as well, and Huey spun you. And as you leaned back, he looked into your eyes lovingly. When the music ended, all the adults and kids clapped, and you both bowed.
"When did you learn to dance so good?" You asked.
"I paid extra attention for when I got my Junior Woodchuck badge in tango dancing, hoping that one day, I'd do it with you," He said.
"So are we cool? Friends?" You asked, holding out for a fist bump.
"Friends," He replied, returning it.
