Your POV
"(Y/n). (Y/n)! (Y/N) WAKE UP!!!" You opened your eyes to see Webby, who was shaking you awake.
"Ugh, wha-" You started, but Webby cut you off while jumping on the bed.
"C'mon! Scrooge is letting us go to the bin today! Just us girls!" This made you sit up in surprise, now fully awake. Even though you'd been living in the mansion for about six months, you'd never gotten to go inside the bin.
"But where are the boys?" You asked.
"Oh. Right," Webby said. "Huey's at an all-day Junior Woodchuck camp, Dewey's at Funzo's, and Louie just doesn't want to do anything today."
"Typical Louie," You laughed. You hopped out of bed as you and Webby slid down the railing to breakfast.
"Launchpad will be waiting for you girls outside," Mrs. Beakley said while putting down plates of panckakes and toast. You both ate ravenously while Launchpad was fiddling with the limo's engine. Eventually, when the time came, Mrs. Beakley took the plates away, as you two got into the car. "Remember: If you need anything of any kind, just text me on your cell phone, Webby," She said.
"It's okay, Granny. Me and (y/n) will be fine," Webby replied. You two got in the backseat of the limo and fastened your seatbelts.
"Howdy, Webby! And (nickname)," He smiled.
"HI, LAUNCHPAD!" You both said in unison. You loved Launchpad: In a way, he was just like you. He was funny, delightful, fun to be around, and always happy.
"So, is this your first time coming to the bin, (nickname)?" He asked.
"Yes, actually!" You said. "What should I do?"
"Well," Webby said. "We can explore Gyro Gearloose's laboratory and the archives if Scrooge decides to lend you his library card. Speaking of which, try not to enter the board room unless you absolutley need something."
"Got it," You winked and gave Webby a thumbs-up. Then you realized that you were heading for the bin. Fast. "LAUNCHPAD! STOMP ON THE BREAKS!!!" You screamed. Too late. CRASH!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After you recovered from the crash, you and Webby stepped out of the limo and observed the damage. "Mmm-hmm. Looks like a minor fender-bender. Hey Launchpad?" You asked.
"Yeah, Ms. (nickname)?" He replied.
"Do you think you could drive back to the manor and try to fix this? Huey will help you when he gets back, I'm sure of it. Be back around six," You said.
"Gotcha, miss (nickname)," He replied and drove in reverse out of the bin parking. You and Webby stepped into the elevator. Webby hit the button for the top floor. Immediately, you heard the jazz music blaring out of the speakers.
"Ugh, why did Scrooge turn the elevator music up so loud?" You asked.
"Oh, that? Probably so you can't hear him yelling at the board," She giggled. You two snickered at the thought.
"This kind of reminds me of a ride I went on at an amusement park. It was like a haunted elevator that drops up and down. I don't really remember it, though," You said. You heard a "Ding!" and the elevator stopped at the top floor. As soon as the doors opened, you could hear the screaming and Scottish cussing coming from the meeting room. "Should we go in, Webby? I'm afraid he'd take it out on us."
"Please. We're his nieces," Webby said. "And besides: You can already hear him taking it out on them." You quietly opened the door, as the raging ensued inside. You and Webby silently walked across the room and found some chairs by your uncle.
