It's been three days since my Grandma was in the hospital. She had a mini stroke so she has to be on bed rest until her next appointment. Today I got to visit her and I was really happy to. I was sitting in the room with her as she was eating. She offered me multiple food items and I denied them each time.

"How is everything at home"? She asked.

I shrugged my shoulders and she smiled, taking my hand.

"Harry was here last night. He brought the roses". She said pointing over to the dozen of roses in the vase.

"Yeah he told me". I smiled.

Harry was supposed to come with me today but he had to go deal with his gang stuff. I told him I would see him later.

"He told me you guys are getting closer. I'm actually shocked. When you guys came to live with me I expected Mike to be closer with him". She said stirring her applesauce.

"Yeah. We've gotten closer". I said.

My face felt hot and I squeezed my legs together. He makes me feel ways I never thought a person could feel. He makes me feel normal.

"He told me he's got a liking to you. Did you know that"? She asked me.

I giggled and gave her a small nod.

"I figured". I said turning to look at her IV.

"Ah. Speak of the devil". She said.

I looked up to see Harry holding a small pink bear and a single rose in his hand. He smiled at me and walked over to the bed to give my grandma a kiss on her forehead.

"You guys talking about me"? He asked and sat next to me on the couch, holding my hand and giving me the small red rose.

"Like always Harry. But now that I have you guys here I do want to talk to you". She said sitting up.

"Yes Grams"? I asked.

She looked at my hand in Harry's and smiled.

"I remember how me and your grandfather were when we first started dating. He told me he loved me the first night we met". She said.

I felt Harry's stare on me and I smiled. Something similar I guess.

"But my story gets better. When I married your grandpa the love never left, and what I see with you two I see a younger version of myself. I was always wanting love. Your grandpa gave me that". She said.

"Mimi how's the medication"? I giggled and I got a laugh from Harry.

"Joke all you want sugar. I see love between you two, even if you want people to know about you guys or not. You both believe there is something there but are afraid to let people in. You feel like it will get ruined". She smiled.

I turned to look at Harry and he was already looking at me. His eyes were the way I would truly see how he felt. His lips always showed me emotion. I turned to look at my grandma and started to tear up.

"Oh trust me, your secret is safe with me. I mean I'm old. I do want great grandkids one day". She joked.

Harry coughed and she shook her head at him.

"Oh calm down boy. I'll be around for a while. Don't rush into anything. Have fun". She said.

The room got quiet after she spoke. I mean I am having fun. Harry has showed me who I could be and I love that about him. That's why I love him. His hand reached behind me and pulled me to him. The strong smell of aftershave and cigarettes filled my nose and I was on cloud nine.  After a while of talking we had to leave so she could get a shower. I leaned over the bed and gave her a big hug, minding all the IVs in her arm. She pulled me to her and kissed my cheek.
