The sound of traditional Daechwita, an ancient Goryeo war music played by marching soldiers can be heard around the palace. The yonggo drum beats matched with the panic hearts of the occupants around. The whole area was in chaos. Everywhere there were shouts of horror and deaths. Arrows and spears were flying in the air, targeting soldiers and innocents alike. It was clear that chaotic upheaval was inevitable for the falling kingdom.

"Phra ra chi nee! We have to evacuate the area. It's impossible for us to remain here." Chasundra, the Royal Sangha, of whom held the title as The Ayutthaya Royal Guard of Somdet Chao Fa as well, expressed with alarmed. Their doleful conversation could be heard in the meeting chamber of the Wonjeonggun Terrace (Foreign Abode) of the palace.

The gungnyeo, short for gungjung yeongwan, a Goryeo term referring to women waiting on the king and other royalty in traditional Korean society, along with the Nāngnı, a Siamese term of the same meaning, were busy packing all their stuffs away. The one hundred strong Ayutthayan Royal Guards of highest ranking stood ready by the lawn and doorways, guarding the Ayutthayan royal from harm.

"I won't leave until I saw the princess safe and sound, Sundra. You know that." The Somdet Phra Chao Borommawong Thoe Chao Fa Indraratcha which also brings the title as 'Her Royal Highness, First Class Princess' in ancient Siamese language, replied calmly to her guard.

"Phra ra chi nee, we can't. I can't let you. I'm responsible for your safety and that's what I'm going to do!" He wiped his cold sweats while kneeling to his royal princess.

It had been three months of the bloody coups from the usurper, General Yi Seong-gye and his supporters and armies that had launched attack of revolts toward the current King, Gongyang of Goryeo Kingdom. Unfortunately, it seems the king was losing the battle and fast.

Sound of horses neighing can be heard outside of the foreign abode inside the palace ground. Though their place on the royal ground was not as close to the main palace court, it was still dangerous for them to remain. The Sangha knew that, the Somdet Chao Fa knew that.

"Your Highness. Please, open the door!" A timid shout along with a shaky knocks can be heard from the main door. Upon hearing the sound, Chasundra immediately stands and pulled out his sword. All the royal guards stood attention as well ready with their swords, spears and bows.

The Somdet Chao Fa signaled everyone to remain calm before replying to the newcomer, inquiring them to identify themselves.

"It is us, Princess Jeongshin and her ladies in waiting." Came the reply on behalf. The Somdet Chao Fa immediately assigned her well trained troops to get ready by the doors, ceilings and pathways without uttering any single sound. She herself was armed with her most prized sword, the Daan Darb Dharb, a singular edged sword forged by Ayutthaya's greatest blacksmith. She fisted the tip of her sword, ready to be put into action shall there be any unwanted ruse. The Sangha, as her first and main royal guard, went and open the door with caution for the awaiting mini convoy.
