Ellie was a stubborn girl, that much was obvious. Her new friends soon learned this fact about the strange girl.

She was a stubborn, outgoing, energetic, adventurous firecracker and the only time her energy seemed to run out was in the mornings when she groggily made her way grudgingly through the halls to make it to breakfast.

It was like she became a dead soul and her friends thought it was genuinely hilarious.

So, one morning they decided to put a bag of flour, they had stolen from the kitchens, on top of her door.

She was instantly covered from head to toe, her face blank but her eyes, they were out for blood.

Her hair had become a tattered mess, the flour covering each strand before falling down her back. It immediately covered her eyes and she was truly glad that she had decided to put her contacts in instead of wearing her glasses.

It was so tempting to just storm down there and rip their heads off.

Ok a bit overdramatic but you get the point.

She was furious and her anger demanded blood.

However, whilst she was a little ball of energy, she was smart and knew that this was the time to be calm and secretly plot her revenge not giving Heidi, who she knew was the one who brought up the idea, the satisfaction of seeing her march down to the hall covered in flour.

With a sinister grin on her face, Ellie re-showered, placed her hair into a messy bun and sat on her bed ripping out a piece of paper and scribbling random ideas down in her messy handwriting.

Soon the plan was set. Dungbombs. Check. Wand. Check. Random blue dust, she brought in case she needed to prank someone. Check.

She was going to get her revenge and it was going to be great.

The time was now.

The others had realised she hadn't turned up for breakfast and were worried about their friend. Heidi offered to go and check in on her, but soon they all became guilty and decided they should all go.

Even though Leona and Hayden were technically not supposed to be in the Hufflepuff common room, everyone was at breakfast and no one would notice so they decided to just stealthily sneak in.

Finally, they found themselves at the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room. Heidi tapped the rhythm into the barrels and after the first two tries Cedric was forced to take over, getting it almost instantly.

"You're just lucky." She mumbled as her friends rolled her eyes and chuckled making her even more furious. "Whatever let's just go check on Ellie."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ellie could hear her friends outside and she was itching for revenge.

The door to the common room swung open and Ellie jumped into action instantly, slowly rolling a dungbomb towards her friends.

They jumped back in shock tripping over the tripwire, previously set up. Simultaneously as the dungbomb went off, they were covered in a fine blue dust, followed by a large bucket of water that soaked them.

Ellie stood to the side, proudly watching and covering her mouth with her hand as she giggled.

Cedric, Hayden, Leona and Heidi all soaked and hunched over like a drowned rat, turn to look over at the giggling person making fun of them only to find Ellie.

"You!" Heidi groaned

"I should've known something was up."

Ellie doubled over, clutching her stomach as she exploded with laughter, unable to hold it in any longer.

"What even is this stuff?" Hayden mumbled confusion and caution plastered on his face. Hayden was always known as the overthinker in the group and she could see the cogs in his mind trying to find out what the mysterious blue dust was.

"Dye." She simply answered trying to catch her breath.

Hayden gave her a look, "That was actually really smart. I bet it activates when it comes in contact with the water. Are you sure you're not supposed to be in Ravenclaw."

Ellie made a face before returning to her giggling fit in the corner. Heidi was fuming at this point, she sighed giving up.

"I guess I deserve this." She mumbled while Ellie nodded her head in a know it all kind of way as she agreed with the statement.

"I'm sorry Ellie it was really mean of me to cover you in flour." She muffled, pretending to look sincere before an evil grin crossed her face. The others immediately caught on, like they were psychics or something, and walked over to stand beside Heidi identical looks on their faces.

Ellie didn't need to be a seer to see where this was going.

"no, no, no, no, nooooo." She cried as she ran down the halls, students giving her strange looks which turned into pure shock as they saw the 4 goop monsters following after her.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Weeks later and proof of her prank was still evident, in the form of her friend's hair, which was officially bright blue for up to two weeks.

Everyone knew of the pranks the group had played on each other however, they were easily overshadowed by a pair of pranksters in Gryffindor, who Ellie didn't know the names of.

All she knew was that they were the most popular pranksters in their house and enjoyed thoroughly giving the other three houses grief.

Hey guys,

What's the haps? I hope you are enjoying my book.

I just wanted to inform you of my plan for these couple of chapters. The first couple of chapters of this book were kinda my extended prologue as I couldn't fit it all in one chapter.

Then there was my little heading thing to just separate and organise my chapters. They will probably be placed after every year.

The first couple years until Harry comes along will be mainly about Ellie growing as a character with her friends. Her abilities will be brought up a little bit, but I think I like the idea of her being a normal child until Harry comes in her third year. That when I will start adding in big visions and dreams that were caused by Harry.

If you have any feedback, suggestions or complaints feel free to comment or message me, I am always looking to improve my writing and greatly appreciate constructive criticism.

Thanks for reading my book. Hope you enjoy
