It was also a Thursday which meant that Ellie had flying lessons... great. (note the sarcasm). If there was one thing Ellie hated most in this world it was flying. She had a terrible fear of heights and every time she even thought of flying just made her want to hurl. But it was mandatory, so she was forced to do it if she wanted to past her 1st year. To be honest Ellie would have rather flunked her first year then fly but somehow Heidi had convinced her to "give it her all" in one of her beautiful motivational speeches.

The time had finally come. Ellie's stomach was full of dread and she swore it was flying around her ribcage. The clock struck 2 and Heidi basically dragged her to their 7th flying class of the semester. Heidi, unlike her terrified friend, loved flying and was definitely going to try out for the team when she was old enough.

Ellie looked down in fear, she was straddling the broom ready to lift off when Madam Hooch laid a hand on her shoulder. She looked up at the teacher fear clearly evident in her usual energetic emerald eyes. She looked a deathly pale as if she was about to feint but she was too scared to even dare blink let alone fall off the dreaded broom. Madam Hooch looked down at her with sincere eyes. "I understand you're struggling Ellie, but you need to get in the air." Madam Hooch stated.

Ellie had spent the last 5 lessons trying to get off the ground but never seemed to make it barely 3 cm before chickening out and falling back to the ground where she would sit wherever she landed and vow to never touch a broom again; well until her next lesson.

"I know Madam Hooch. I'm just so scared of falling." She responded with a sigh.

Mad eyes lit up "wait here" she ordered before turning and walking in a random direction. A couple minutes later she returned with an unfamiliar red haired, freckled boy trailing slowly behind her, a broom in his hands.

"Now Ellie, this is George."

"Fred." 'George' responded with a cheeky grin, but his statement didn't affect Ellie she already knew that he was George. Ellie was an observative kid, she always paid attention and could tell from the different face shape, slight freckle difference and eye variation, this was not Fred along with the fact that George was a terrible liar evident by his cheeky smirk, innocent eyes and mischievous tone.

"Sorry Fred I always mess you and George up. Anyway, Mr. Weasley will be helping you learn to fly properly. He is one of my best students and I hope he and his brother make it on the team one day." She declared a small grin on her face. Ellie could tell Madam Hooch thought that she was a genius from the small glint in her eye to the cheeky smile Madam Hooch was quite proud of her achievement. It was obvious that she believed that she would finally get her hardest and most difficult student off the ground, but Ellie was not so sure about that. And with that Madam Hooch turned away with a flick of her short-cropped hair and turned to go talk to Heidi ready to yell at her to stop flying so high, yet again.

Sadly, Leona and Hayden didn't have flying with the Hufflepuffs instead they were stuck in transfiguration with McGonagall where Ellie seriously wish she was during that point of time.

Ellie turned to George with a sigh. "Sorry you're stuck with me George. Let's just get this over and done with so you can get back to your friends."

"What makes you think I can't get you in the air." George questioned a smirk permanently placed on his face due to his cocky attitude. George didn't even seem to care that Ellie could tell he wasn't his twin after just meeting him whilst even Madam Hooch continued to confuse the two after having them for 7 lessons already.

'Maybe because it has been 7 lessons already and I have barely made it 3cm off the ground before feeling as though I'm about to die.' Ellie answered in her head instead giving him 'a look' in addition to a small eye roll.
