Taking In A New Disciple

The day for Kaito's departure arrives. Ainu doesn't have the heart to leave her child. she hugs him tightly. Akihito sighs on seeing this. He seperates them both and takes kaito along with him. At the entrance, Airavata(Mammoth with four tusks and immense strength) is laden with lots of elixirs, high level charms,jade tokens that allow one to enter the Sage Ascending Auction, water element scrolls from the ancient wreckages of the netherworld sea etc. Akihito places kaito on his steed, the Grim Black Panther , a high level beast difficult to capture because of its evasiveness by using invisibility, Night illusion and hypnotic slash.
Akihito was given this beast as a gift from one of the commanding generals of the legion for saving him once in a tightspot. The soldiers travelled on grey hounds, which usually attacked in packs. These beasts are used to protect high level armaments and distinguished guests. The greyhounds are intermediate beasts which seal off enemies by blasting off nine columns of Hell Fire which makes the enemy despair in hell till he dies if hes not mastered the art of fire. The group arrive at Matso Nakamura's hut. Nakamura accepts the gifts eventhough its not much of a use to him. He usually gives it off to his disciples. Akihito leaves kaito in the care of Nakamura. Kaito frowns on seeing the old sage and feels disappointed on seeing the hut. Nakamura laughs on seeing his expression. He takes a flute from his cloak. The flute looks old with 6 beads attached to it. Nakamura starts playing a melodious tune. A low level water dragon(legendary) rises from below the sea. Nakamura pulls kaito towards him and taps on the air before him and floats to the top of the dragon's head. The dragon floats off into the far sky under the guidance of the sage. They fly for more than 3hrs. During the journey, kaito sees several water demons and creatures beneath them in the sea and asks the "old sage" about them. Nakamura explains him the different classification of demons,beasts and human cultivation.

Classification of Demons

1. Low level demons-slave(easy to handle)

2. Combat class- has invoked elements( low level )

3. Intermediate combat class- invoked elements and increased power by devouring treasures.(Novice-Elder lvl)

4.High lvl combat class- Mastery over a single element to the peak(Master lvl)

5.Descended Demons-Acquired the legacy of a demon God(Danger:Sage lvl and above).

Classification of beasts

1. Low lvl beasts- herbivores(plant creatures used for concoting medicines and pills)

2. Intermediate lvl- taming (beasts which are used for steed or training disciples. Airavata,the Mammothis a high lvl beast though). elemental attacks.

3. High lvl- beasts which are the king of intermediate lvl beast hordes. elemental attacks.

4. Legendary lvl- Mostly dragons, legendary elemental beasts(invoked by humans with the bones or parts of a dead legendary beast).

kaito asks old sage how long it took him to become a sage. With a smile, Nakamura tells him 459yrs but deep inside he is burning. "Damn the other 6 sages are just around 370yrs. If only i had a proper teacher..argghh.."
😫. They reach an island with a towering castle at the top of it. Nakamura thanks the dragon and gives it a shiny white pearl to aid its cultivation growth. The dragon roars and plunges into the sea. Nakamura turns and winks at kaito, "welcome to my abode,disciple".
