The 8th of May, Monday, 2018.
We stayed talking for hours, going far past midnight. Soon however, we had to go back because it was getting so cold. We walked the 200 or so metres to the house holding hands, and went inside to see Sylvanna talking to dad. "Hey." I said, smiling a little.
She looked at me and stared at my ears, making me quickly hide them, along with my tail. She smiled a little and looked at my face normally. "Hiya."
Dad glanced at me. "Oh, you're back." He looked properly at us, turning around.
Aphmau was leaning against my shoulder. "Mmm." She smiled at him, eyes half closed because she was tired.
"You two should probably go to your room. You looked shattered, mi hija." Her mom said.
She nods and looked up at me. "Where is it?"
I smiled and walked over to the stairs and had to carry her up them since she was so tired and then even carried her to our room. I laid her on the bed and locked the door because I didn't want anybody to interrupt. She staggered to the bed and fell on it, then sat up slowly. "A-Are we going to sleep in the same bed?"
I blush instantly. "Oh, I didn't think of that..."
"I-I mean, I don't mind..!" She didn't look sure.
I shake my head and looked around nervously. "You can have the bed. I-I'll find something for myself." I said, kissing her forehead.
She whimpered. "You're sure?"
"I'll be fine. I'll just find a sleeping bag or something." I said, walking to the door and unlocking it. I walked downstairs and stopped when I saw mom and dad on the couch, whispering to each other, both looking worried. They didn't see me so I walked back upstairs and found a storage cupboard with a bunch of bed things and even a mattress, with a few other things. Two sleeping bags. I quickly grabbed one and then closed it, walking to our room and locking the door again.
She was already asleep. I smiled and laid out the sleeping bag next to the bed, then slipped off my jacket and put it in the corner of the room, then slid into the sleeping bag. Aphmau's arm slid off the bed. I didn't know if she did it on purpose or not, but I slowly reached out to hold her hand. She didn't even stir. I fell asleep clutching it.
I woke and I was still holding her hand. I didn't know what the time was, so I leaned over and grabbed my jacket, taking my phone out of my pocket and seeing it was 10am. I sat up and put it on, letting go of her hand, which was difficult behind she was holding mine back.
She woke and whined. "Hold!" She tried to grab my hand again.
I smiled but held it. "We should get up. Its 10am Aph."
She opened one eye and glared at me. "Really?"
"Please? I want to show you something!"
"Nooo..."
"Please?"
She groaned and let go of my hand, slamming her pillow over her head. "Not this early!"
I quickly took a step back, and stared at her. "Fine, I'll go out on my own." I said, walking out and downstairs.
Once I got to the door, mom grabbed my wrist. "You're not allowed to go out on your own honey."
My eyes widen as I try to force my arm away, but she had a firm grip. "Let go!"
"I can't. Not if you're going to go out. I'm sorry, but it's your father's choice." She sighs. "It's to keep you safe."
"Let go!" I growl and pull it away violently. I couldn't stand being stuck in one place anymore. After being stuck on the ground and having to pull myself up at the lodge for what seemed like ages, and being in my room for months at Falcon Claw, I hated it. I kept tugging until she let go, and when she lost focus, I bolted out the door.
"DEREK!"
I kept running but I was soon pounced on by Garroth. "STOP IT!" I yelled, fighting him violently.
I'd used up all my energy. I went weak and whimpered as Garroth had to carry me back, embarrassed with myself. We got back and he put me on the couch and dad, of course, started yelling at me at the top of his voice and I couldn't do anything about it apart from whimper and whine from aches.
"Okay, honey, I think he's heard enough." Mom said eventually.
I look up at him, whining louder. He sighed. "Garroth can you carry him up to his room? Up the stairs and the first door on the left."
He nods and picks me up, carrying me up there. Melissa laughed because she saw while walking downstairs. I whined louder because I couldn't talk. Garroth walked faster then. He walked in and sat me down against the bed in the floor. "Sorry dude..."
Aphmau was awake on her phone, so she sat up. "What happened?"
"Long story short, he wasn't allowed out, he ran out and tried to fight me when I went to get him, we got back and his father lectured him, and now he's here. His strength is lost easily and quickly.”
