The 17th Of December, Sunday, 2017 - Aaron's Birthday.

I woke up to a piece of paper being slapped against my face, but when I opened my eyes I saw that it was a letter. "Hmm?"
"This came for you. It's from Aphmau." Melissa said, but didn't give it to me. She walked across the room and put it in my dresser and the walked out.
Growling silently, I got myself up. I slowly walked across the room and fell once. Mom heard the thud and ran in. "What happened?" She ran over and helped me stand up.
"M-Melissa put my letter over here so I had to walk to get it..." I mumbled, taking another three steps then grabbing it.
"Oh." She sighed and helped me walk back. "I just wanted to say Happy Birthday."
I nod a little. "Thanks, but there's no point in celebrating it."
   She pouted. "Why not?"
"Because what exciting things can we do when stuck in a house? Just get me alcohol and I'll be happy." I mutter, laying down and curling into a ball, opening the letter.
She stared at me with hurt. "Can't we at least all watch a movie together tonight? I'll get a bunch of your favourite fast food and snacks!" She says hopefully.
   Her voice broke me. "Fine."
She cheered. "YAY! What movie do you want to watch?"
   "Deadpool." I mutter.
   "Deadpool?"
   "Yep." I smirk.
She sighed. "Fine. As long as you are happy." She kissed my forehead again then walked out.
I eagerly fished the letter out of the newly opened envelope. I opened it scanned it over. After that, I read the letter and started crying. I couldn't stop. The letter was brief and not even 300 words long, neither upsetting, but for some reason I couldn't hold back tears. Dad walked in after a full 15 minutes of crying and sighed, walking over and sitting me up, hugging me. I clutched him, not wanting to let go. I saw he had put a parcel on my table but didn't look at it.
He let go eventually. "Can I read it?" I nod, wiping my eyes. He picked it up and then gave me the parcel. "This came with it but Melissa didn't give it to you. Aphmau's mom delivered it personally, for a reason I don't know. Maybe you'll find out."
I wiped my eyes and started unwrapping it. It was parcel paper over a box, so then I had to open the box. It was full of cookies, oatmeal to be exact. I stared and smiled. He saw and chuckled. "So that's why."
I picked one out of it and immediately ate it. I groaned because it tasted so good and laid back on the bed will finishing it. "Fuck!" I shouted as I ate it, making him laugh.
   "Can I try one?"
"MINE!" I shouted again, shutting the box and holding it close.
He rolled his eyes. "Fine, fine. Aphmau made them?"
I nod rapidly. "She used to make them all the time. They're the best."
   "...You're sure I can't have one?"
Sitting up, I opened it and gave him a 1/3 of one that was already broken. "There. But no more."
He smiled and are it. "Wow. I thought you said she was a terrible cook?"
"No, she's great. Just terrible at trying new things."
He snickered. "Alright. Well I'll leave you to eat them then. You can walk around the house of you want. Your mom said about a movie, so come downstairs at 7, ok?" I nod, smiling. He hugs me again for a few seconds then walks out.
I turn on the TV and put on Carrie, then slowly walked to my closet and grabbed a notebook and pen from inside, as well as an envelope. My mom have them to me last week to write to Aph, because it was more special to receive her handwriting than a text message. I sat on my bed then started writing.
