Chapter six

Katherine's POV

I'm still angry when I get to my house. As if I want to follow her around,she can do whatever she like for all I care. I parked my black Ferrari beside my black ducati. I know,I know,but what can I say its my favorite color. I got out of the car and walked to the door. I can still feel her emotions. Right now its hurt,anger and shame. Well,she don't have to blame me,I don't want her to be my Titania as well.

"Did you take her home?" Shayne asked when I walk past the kitchen. She's cooking dinner. She took it upon herself to cook for the two of us after I accidentally burn the kitchen. Hey don't judge me,I'm great at all things but not cooking.

"What are you cooking?" I asked her.

"Lasagna. You didn't answer me." She said as she put the cheese.

"She get home just fine,she's a big girl. She don't need me following her around." I answered her while she put the lasagna in the oven. She sighed and look at me. Damn here it comes.

"You know well enough that if anything happens to her will happen to you as well,Katherine." I nodded.

"So why don't you make sure she's safe."

"Like I said she don't want me following her around and I'm sure as hell don't want to follow her around." I said and walk to the stairs to my room. Fortunately,she didn't follow me to my room. I put on my headphone and play Cold play's Fix You then got up to find the book. After an hour of searching,throwing and moving things I find it under my closet. I throw it in the bed and go to shower. I can read it later the w warm shower is practically calling my name.

After my(heavenly)shower I put on my favorite shirt and pajama. I lay in my bed and put my headphone to play Here Without You then read the book.

The History of Shadow Hunters

Since the beginning of time,there was always a war between good and evil. The Shadow Hunters was always at war with the Shadows,the demons that prey on humans. They prey on human souls,they will play with their mind,heart and emotions until that humans is almost dying,then they'll eat the human soul. That's what Shadow Hunters is trying to prevent,they will eliminate the Shadow before its too late. The numbers of Shadows are decreasing,until they stop showing.

Years after that,the Shadow Hunters live peacefully. Their leader, Alexandra,wish to the goddess to find her other half or Titania if female and Titan if male. Then that night,the goddess appear on her dream saying that she will find her other half in the river tomorrow. That day she did find her other half in the river. Its a Titania not a Titan but she don't care as long as she have her. Shadow Hunters rejoiced that their leader found her Titania. They lived happily even the goddess give them a child. But it didn't last for long. Alexandra's second in command,Mathias betray them and become the first Contractor and kill all the Shadow Hunters by killing their Titania/Titan.

Knock!knock!knock!

Shayne poke her head in and smile.

"Yeah. I actually reading it." I said to her.

"Dinner is ready. Come on down." She said and go downstairs. I sighed and dog eared the page. The story can wait,I need to eat and Shadows will not wait for me to start preying on souls.
