Chapter fourteen

Anna's POV

I feel like a weight is lifted from my shoulders when I apologized to Katherine earlier. She hold my hand and drag me with her. I feel the tingling sensations in my hands and I can't help but smile. I bet if anyone see me now they would think I just got out of a mental hospital,lucky me because the halls are deserted. We got to the class when she let go of my hand. I can't help but feel disappointed at the loss of warmth of her hands. She opened the door and walked inside.

"Nice of you to grace us with your presence Mace." Mr. Baldy(yes that's his name)said clearly irritated. Baldy always hated Katherine because of some unknown reason to us. Katherine ignore him and walk to her seat. Baldy's face went red and I quickly get to my seat taking the opportunity of him being distracted by glaring at the bored looking Katherine.

"Answer to me when I'm talking to you Mace!" Baldy said angrily and slam his palms on his table with so much force that the sound echoed through the room. Ouch,I bet that hurts. There was deathly silence now as the students look at Baldy. I look at Katherine and saw that she still has those same bored expressions in her face.

"Well?" Baldy asked breaking the silence. Katherine look at him and yawned. My eyes widen when Baldy picked up a book and throw it at Katherine. She didn't even bat an eye when she catch the the book and smirked at him.

"If you want me to read a book just say it,no need to embarrass yourself...sir."

He opened his mouth to say something when the bell ring. Wew! Save by the bell. The students hastily get up and got out of the room. I got out and wait for Katherine to come out. After a moment she come out.

"What did he say?" I asked her when I'm beside her. She blinked at me and shrugged her shoulders. We walked in silence,but its the comfortable silence. I look at her hand and take it. I look at her face,she looks like she's fighting back a smile. I took it as I sign and I entwined my fingers through her. Then we came to my second class and I reluctantly let go of her hand.

"Um,see you around?" I look at her then at the floor then at her again. I look in her eyes and I swear it feels like we were the only ones in the hall. Her eyes are now reminding me of a summer sky,and that's my favorite part of the year.

"Yeah see you around." She said then lean in to kiss my cheek. I can feel her soft lips in my cheek and tingling sensation. She stand back and winked at me before she disappeared in the sea of students. I stood there in daze with my fingertips touching the part where she kissed me. She always have that effect on me.
