Louis x Clem ; if the apocalypse never happened

New school

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

"fuck" said Clem as she rolled over and turned her alarm clock off. It was 6:30 in the morning, it was also her first day at her new school. She somehow managed to pull herself out of her nice warm bed and to the bathroom. She took a quick shower and put on some makeup. Nothing too extreme just some concealer here or there. She went back to her room and picked out an outfit for her first day. First impressions mean a lot. After some debate she chose black ripped skinny jeans and a pink v neck. She opened her door meeting her little brother AJ in the hallway

"goodmorning goofball, how'd you sleep?" asked Clem sort of teasing AJ a bit.

"fine." He said. His voice was filled with sorrow and anger. Since Clem and AJ's parents died they've moved to plenty of different schools. This time they moved because of their adoptive parents new jobs.

They made their way downstairs to be seated with Lee and Carly. Carly smiled brightly at Clem as she put pancakes on her plate. Clem thanked her and began to eat.

"Alright sweet pea, i've got to go to work, i'll see you after okay?"

Lee. Lee has been with Clem and AJ for many years. He is the perfect father who always has the perfect advice.

"Okay, i love you dad!" said Clem in an excited tone.

Lee said his goodbyes to Carly and AJ then headed to work. This was a morning routine for the family. After they finished eating Carly rounded the kids up and dropped them off at school. AJ went to an elementary school a few miles away from Clem's school. Carly pulled up to Clem's school which was Ericsson's Boarding School. She couldn't help but feel fear as she opened the car door. She told her her mom bye and she loved her and stepped out of the car. As her mom drove away she was left there alone.  This school was much bigger than her last. Her last school was a tiny school of 100 students, but this one, this one has over 1,000. As she stood there wanting to crawl into a hole and die she noticed a boy staring at her. He was tall, VERY handsome, had these brown dreadlocks (not too long , not too short) and was wearing a very interesting long brown coat. He must've noticed her staring too because he made his way to her.

As he reached Clem he extended his arm as to signal a handshake. "Hi, my name is louis!"  Clem by no means had any form of social anxiety, but this boy just made her heart skip a beat.

"uh..h-hi, my names Clem-Clementine." She managed to stammer out.

"Well clem-clementine it's very nice to meet you, I'm assuming you're new?" He said in a joking manner
Clem nodded her head not wanting to make herself look like a fool once more.

"Alright then, i'll show you around." he said cheerfully. Clem thanked him and followed him to the office. They grabbed her schedule and Louis showed a huge smile.

"All right!" he exclaimed.

"what??" Clem asked intrigued.

"We have lunch AND 4th period together!"

Clem smiled and blushed. Louis was SO hot and he actually was talking to Clem. She was amazed. Louis noticed the look on her face and smiled. His smile was gorgeous. He walked Clem to her first period class and then went to his own

Clem nervously walked into her 4th period history class. All the seats are taken except one. And would you know, it's right next to Louis. She takes her seat and opens a note book and starts doodling. Not five minutes go by before she feels something hit her head. She looked to the floor and saw a wadded up piece of paper. Clem looked at Louis as he smirked. She rolled her eyes and read the note

"Wanna sit with my friends today at lunch? We'd LOVE to have you." Clem couldn't help but smile a little. She looked at louis and nodded her head. Just then the teacher slapped her hand on her desk

"Just because you are new here doesn't mean you are excluded from the rules. Stop talking" The teacher hissed.

Clem nodded her head and continued doodling. Until the bell rang.

As clem walked out of class Louis ran up behind her and put his arm around her shoulder.

"So clem, we're gonna go sit with my friends. I'm sure they'll love you just watch out for Violet.... She can be intense sometimes."

"okay then.."

When they finally made their way to the lunch table there were 4 others already sitting. A blonde boy with hair cut resembling a skunks tail smiled and said "well well well. Who's this?"

"uh.. I'm uh.. Clementine"

"Well clementine, it's very nice to meet you. This is Minnie" he said pointing to a beautiful read head.

"This is sophie, they're twins" he said as both Minnie and Sophie smiled and waved. "this is Violet!" he said as she gave a little wave with no smile. "And i. Well i'm Marlon!"

Clem smiled trying not to act nervous. She sat down next to louis and pulled out some skittles.

"How about a card game!" exclaimed Louis.
Everyone at the table groanded "whaaat come on, it'll be fun, it'll be a good way for me to get to know clem... I mean not just me... You guys too!" He said as he laughed nervously, Clem couldn't help but giggle a little.

"Alright then, how do we play" said clem

"Simple. We each draw a card from the deck, person with the highest gets to ask you a question. If you happen to get the highest then you get to ask any of us a question."

"Easy enough, okay then."

Everyone grabbed a card from the deck. Louis had the highest.

"No surprise there hah! So clem... have you ever had a boyfriend ? I've never had a girlfriend or anything if it makes it better."

Everyone at the table groaned while Marlin let out a little chuckle.

"ehm, No, nope i have not had a boyfriend"
Moving on to the next round clem had the highest card. She asked Marlon "so... what's up with the hair?"

"what do you mean, it's stylish" said Marlon Defensively. Clem nodded and they moved on. This time violet got the highest card.

"Why'd you move here?"she asked

"Well, my parents got new jobs and they happened to be here i guess" She said laughing a bit. Just as they were about to play another round the bell rang. As clem was walking to her next class Louis stopped her.

"Do you want to hang out with me later.. and my friends of course?"

Clem thought for a second and then said sure. Her first day and she already had some friends.
