Louis x Clem ; if the apocalypse never happened

New Beginnings

Clem laid on her bed scrolling through her social media when she got a text. The text stated, "Hey you ready to hang out with us?" Butterflies instantly formed in Clem's tummy. She replied with a thumbs up and her address. She quickly got up and ran to her bedroom door stopping suddenly as to try and keep her cool. "This isn't a big deal, you're cool." She continued telling herself in her mind. She couldn't help but crack a smile thinking about hanging out with them. She had made new friends already. She walked nonchalantly down the stairs and up to lee.

"Hey sweet pea, whats up?" He said pulling her in for a hug.

"Oh nothing.. Can i.. hang out with some friends?"

Lee was just as surprised as she was that she had already made new friends. He told her yes and she ran up the stairs to throw on some shoes. As she was heading back down she heard a knock on her door. As she got to the door she saw Louis talking to Lee. She smiled at Louis and Lee turned around.

"So your quote on quote friends, is just a boy?" He said jokingly. Louis blushed and looked down and clem blushed as well.

"No dad, we are going to meet up with the others later." She said annoyed

"Alright, sweetpea." He said as he was giving her a kiss on the forehead, "Have fun, be safe"

With that, she walked outside and closed the door.

"Sorry about my dad, he can be a little, overprotective."

"Oh no, he was fine, charming actually." Said Louis jokingly.

Louis opened the door for her and she sat inside the car. Louis had a very nice car, and it smelled really good. Louis got in and started the car.

"So clem, tell me a bit about yourself."

"Well, I'm 16, I have a little brother names AJ, and I like cats, Your turn."

"I'm 17, I have no siblings and I also like cats." he said cutely

Coversations like that continued until they picked up all of their friends. They eventually ended up at Louis' house, which happened to be just a block from Clems. Before they got out of the car Louis said: "Just walk in and go upstairs, my room is the door at the top of the stairs."

Everyone got out of the car and started walking to the door. Louis' house was a medium sized white house. He had a beautiful yard and a beautiful house. Clem followed the others in and up the stairs to his room. The house was beautiful on the inside and his room was even nicer. It was clean and pretty sizeable.

"So wanna play some board games?" Everyone agreed to this idea and that is how they spent the rest of the night.

Fast forward

Clem was the last one to be dropped off as to make a big circle. As they pulled up to the house Louis parked the car and turned to look at Clem.

"So today was... uh... super fun... you're gonna hang out with me and my friends again right?"

Clem giggled and said, "Definitely, ill see you tomorrow."

With that, she got out of the car and into her house. She leaned up against the door and smiled. Could this be something? It's early, very early. But maybe just maybe. Clem went to sleep with tons of butterflies in her stomach
