Ellie's mouth dropped after hearing what I said. It took her a good 5 minutes bago magsalita. She was ranting non-stop kung ba't ang tagal daw. She thought uuwi din kaagad pero hindi pala. I kept casting glances at her, amused at her reaction. I threw my arm on her shoulder while the other hand held my luggage. Akmang tatanggalin niya yung braso ko sa pagkakaakbay sa kanya but then hinapit ko lang siya palapit sakin lalo. Her cheeks turned crimson at napabulong nalang siya sa inis. "Don't worry, mageenjoy ka for sure." I whispered right in her ear.
Third Person's POV
Jiro's whisper sent shivers down to Ellie's spine. Namula lang ito lalo at sa pagkakataong ito natahimik na siya. They both entered the hotel. Hinatid naman ni Jiro si Ellie to her room, which she and Nadie will be sharing. Matt texted him the room number earlier nung mauna silang makarating.
"Here's your room. Nadie's waiting for you inside." He said nung napahinto na sila sa harap ng pinto ng room ng mga dalaga. She nodded and said thanked him. Pipihitin niya na sana ang door knob ng biglang magsalita ulit si Jiro. "Ella." Tawag niya sa pangalan ng dalaga kaya napalingon ito ulit sa kanya. Tamang paglingon naman nito ng maramdaman niyang dumampi ang malalambot na labi ng binata. "See you." Mahinang bulong nito na sapat lang para marinig ni Ellie. Her eyes turned into saucers and her fingers went to touch her rigt cheek kung saan lumapat ang labi ni Jiro. He left her with a small smile bago tumalikod at nagtungo sa room niya na nasa kabilang hallway lang.
She entered their room na hindi parin naaalis sa mukha yung kamay niya sa sobrang gulat. Her heart went crazy na tila ba parang magpapalpitate siya any minute sa sobrang pagkagulat. Pulang pula ang buong mukha nito ng madatnan siya ni Nadie na kakalabas lang ng cr.
"Oh, napano ka?" Tanong nito kaagad sa kanya sabay hawak ng noo niya. Sa sobrang pula kasi nito akalain mong may lagnat. "Wala ka namang lagnat, na pano ka diyan?" Dagdag na tanong ng pinsan niya.
"Wala, wala." She went inside the bathroom at naghilamos para mahimasmasan kahit konti. She leaned on the lavatory and stared right at her reflection. Pilit niyang pinapakalma ang puso niya sa mga nangyari. She also tried processing in her mind na ilang araw din silang magsasama sa biglaang trip na ito kaya hindi ito ang oras para ma distract kay Jiro. She needs to find out first kung anong meron ba talaga sa kanila dati dahil naguguluhan parin siya sa mga pangyayari.
They rested for an hour bago lumabas ng kanya kanyang room at magtungo sa site ng pinapatayong resort ng mga Garcia. Same as usual they traveled in pairs except for JD, Bryle and their dad. Nang makarating sila sa mismong lugar agad itong inasikaso ng kanilang ama. Bryle being the eldest, lagi itong nakasunod sa dad nila. Jiro's attention was often called also. Maya't maya their dad told them na pwede na silang mamasyal. He told them na susunod nalang siya at may tatapusin lang siyang paper works and he can just call them later kung saan sila nagpunta. They decided to head over sa adventure park na malapit lang sa pinapatayuan nilang resort. This time Nadie went with Ellie and Jiro, yung natitirang magkapatid was with Matt. Iniwan kasi nila yung isang kotse for their dad to use later.
Nadie was nervous the whole trip to Dahilayan. She kept casting glances between Jiro and Ellie who was seated on the passenger seat. Di siya mapakali dahil di parin siya makapaniwala sa mga pangyayari, Jiro and Ellie sitting next to each other. Tahimik lang silang tatlo at parang walang balak ni isa sa kanilang magsalita. Nadie silently hoped for herself na sana dun nalang siya kina Matt nakisabay. Parang di niya kasi kayang maiwan kasama yung dalawa. Although kakakilala lang nila ni Matt pero tila parang mas gusto niya pang kasama yun at the moment kesa sa pinsan niya with Jiro. She doesn't want to be stuck between the two. She also wished to remain silent about the issue. Ayaw niyang makialam kasi she doesn't want for her cousin to hate her.
Jiro noticed na pinagdaop na ni Ellie ang mga palad nito at nilalapit sa bibig niya upang hipan. His hand reached for the aircon to turn it off bago tinignan ng bahagya ulit and dalaga. "Much better?" He asked concerned na sinagot naman ni Ellie ng tango.
Soon enough they reached their destination. Jiro parked his car just near the entrance before they got out of the car. They waited for the others to arrive tsaka sabay pumasok ng park. Jiro paid for their entrance fee's and went in with them afterward. By the time they entered the park the sky had a tint of orange, making the whole atmosphere dreamy. Ellie's eyes scanned the whole place with awe, sobrang nagagandahan ito sa kanyang nakikita.

The forest park was huge and pine tree's surrounding the whole place, from afar she caught sight of the luge ride over the hill and the hanging bridge used to cross the hill on the other side for the zip line. Just when you enter the entrance on the right side was the park's cafe. There were a lot of attractions all over the place kaya napagdesisyonan nilang lahat to split into groups. In the end, the pairing ended up Matt with Nadie and Bryle then Jiro with Ellie and JD. Matt's group decided to go for the Luge and Jiro's group at the ropes course.

JD was walking alongside them pero tahimik lang ito as usual. Jiro didn't mind him, instead he wrapped his jacket on Ellie's shoulder. "Let's go." Sabi nito and lead the way towards the attraction. JD eyed Jiro's back and gave Ellie a quick glance bago binaling ito sa mga taong nasa palibot.
