We kept walking down the sidewalk. Him holding onto his bike, and me staring ahead waiting to reach our destination. I would hold his hand, but he's a little busy at the moment. That thought made me giggle. He looked over at me. He began to smile and he saw me laughing.

"What ya laughing at?" he asked chuckling at me. "Oh nothing," I trailed off back into my daydream. He continued to stare at me. "What are you staring at?" I asked him impatiently. He was beginning to annoy me. I don't know why...Maybe it's because my daydream went as bad as my attitude.

"I'm staring at the beautiful girl next to me," he said smirking, "is that a crime 'round these parts?" he began to talk in a country accent.

This made me laugh again. We walked in again in silence. We were only a half a block away now.

"Do you wanna go home after I make my call?" I asked. He nodded, "We can get my car, and my phone and money." Then when I finally looked away there was the payphone.

I jetted towards the phone and slipped the coins into the slot. I pulled the crumpled piece of paper out my pocket and began to push the cold silver buttons. Lifting the phone to my ear I began to get anxious. I only had enough money to make one call. What if she didn't answer? Well, then I honestly would just be on my own. Noah, my brother when we find him, and I against the world. Then suddenly I hear a whispering voice on the phone.

"Hello, this is Courtney speaking," she said lowly. She must have been working.

"Courtney it's me," I paused, "it's Paisley." The other end got silent. I don't know if she'd hung up, or if she was just surprised. It was honestly beginning to scare me.

"Hunny where are you calling from? I thought you'd given me your phone number?" she said nervously.

"I'm calling from a payphone," I replied quickly. She stopped again. Why does she keep stopping? It's nerve-racking. Noah was staring at me and he must've known I was on edge. He held my hand; locking his strong hand into mine. Mine was much smaller, softer, and chubbier but it felt nice in the security of his.

"What happened?" I could tell at this point she was truly scared.

"My dad kicked me out because I told him I knew I had a family outside of him," she stopped speaking again.

"Oh my goodness! Where are you going?" She asked panicking.

"I ran into the guy I was telling you about, and we're going to find my brother," I told her this confidently although I was honestly afraid.

"I can't stop you obviously your father didn't, but I can tell you this much he lives in Illinois and his name is Park," she said sighing into the phone. Park huh gee that's neat.

"Thank you," I replied happily back into her ear.

"Be safe baby I love you," I could tell she was saying this and starting to cry.

"Don't cry I'll be alright," I reassured her although I knew it wouldn't make it better.

"Goodbye," she whispered into the phone again. I began to cry then.

"Let's not say goodbye," I paused drying my tears, "let's see you later."

"See ya darling," she ended the call. I turned to Noah now grabbing his other hand.

"Let's go handsome," I flirtatiously him. He then pull me close and leaned down to kiss me. I was shocked but suddenly closed my eyes and gave in. Wow am I lucky to have such a guy.

"Can I ask you one thing before we go beautiful?," he stared at me happily.

"Of course you can," I punched his arm jokingly. I honestly think he's going to friend zone me yet again. I drew in a deep breath.

"Will you finally be my girlfriend?" He asked me so smoothly. My jaw dropped open. THE NOAH WAS ASKING ME TO BE HIS GIRLFRIEND!! OMG! Ahhhhhhh! Calm down P...play it cool.

"Yes!" I couldn't help it I blurted it out eagerly. I began to fidget because I was so happy.

"Lets get going," he said picking up his bike off the concrete, "we have a long walk home before our drive." Home. The word made my heart flutter. I belonged to him now.

I grabbed his free hand. This time the silence was sweet and loving. I honestly couldn't take it anymore the silence was killing me.

"I love you," I blurted out loud accidentally. He stopped in his tracks and looked over at me. He put his bike down and grabbed me. Pulling me to him first and the kissing me again. God I'm glad I've had my heart set on this boy.

When he had finally let me breathe. He whispered into my ear, "I love you too my love."
