Paisley's POV:
When Courtney got there I was staring blankly at the curtain waiting for it to open. I didn't run to her. I didn't hug her. For the love of God I didn't even speak to her. I walked out of the room without speaking a word. She grabbed the clothes from off the rack.

"I don't need them," I snapped at her quickly. I was already told I was humongous today. The last thing I need is a reminder of it.

"Hunny yes you do. You don't have anything to wear." She calmly said back. Now setting back into motion toward the register.

"I don't need them!" I raised my voice. She kept walking. I rolled my eyes at her. I jumped in front of her, "don't buy them!" I snapped at her again.

"Young lady I don't know what's gotten into you, but you need to stop it right now!" She moved me gently out the way.

"Please don't..." I pleaded. She gave me a hand motion to wait at the door. I walked toward the front of the store, tears rolling down my cheeks. Then I saw the girl who'd taken the videos. She was smoking a cigarette.

"Someone here for ya kid?" She asked blowing smoke to her left. I nodded at her and handed her the paper with the number on it. After hacking up her lungs she typed in the number, and she handed it back to me.

Blowing another puff of her cigarette she looked at me, "was that kid your boyfriend?" I looked at her and nodded once more. I started to cry again. "You're too pretty to be crying over a guy whose nowhere near a man."

I stopped crying and looked at her angrily. Why was a mad? Why should I be defending him? She looked pissed at me for my glare, and snapped at me, "what's he got to offer money? Well let me tell you something sweetheart that's how they pull ya in. They make it out to seem like your their world and life, they can provide for you and care for you, and they make you feel wanted. And for what? To turn around hang it above your head and walk out. Making you feel worthless."

I let her words sit for a moment. She was right! I fell for his charm, and his looks, and his independence. I didn't know who he was! I never did! He wasn't supposed to mean anything to me, and I let him mean something. He did exactly what she said! He left me in the dust! Holding my weight, my problems, where I am, and what was going on over my head! He left in the blink of an eye!

She calmed and blew another puff of smoke. "Look kid I'm not mad at you I understand. He's not worth it. What he said wasn't true. You're strong I can tell by the way you took a hit and fought, you are beautiful because you aren't your size, and you were never the problem," she concluded and took out a pen and paper.

She scribbled down the digits 985-277-4356 onto the back of a receipt. She handed it to me. "Keep this," She said after she handed it to me. I nodded, she put out her cigarette and went back into the store.

Just then Courtney walked out the store with two bags. She handed them to me.
"One has accessories and the other has all the clothes and some more," she said giggling. She was hoping for a smile. I grinned.

"Talk to me when we get in the car please," she began to walk to the front of the mall. I trailed behind her. I started to cry again. After everything that woman told me I'm still crying. Crying over a boy! A little boy who isn't worth a damn thing!

We walked out into the afternoon air. The sun was covered by black clouds. Great it's about to rain. Perfect! Luckily she was parked close. She drove a white Ford. I didn't know she had another car. The car I knew about was her red Nissan Altima. She's a truck girl...I like that!

She opened the back door for me and I placed my bags there. After that she opened the passenger door for me. After she shut it I knew a break down was about to happen. She climbed into her side of the truck and shut her door.

"What's wrong?"She asked worried. "You called me crying, you didn't hug me, you screamed at me what's up this isn't you." I started to sob. She was shocked. Leaning over in her seat she wrapped her arms around me.

"You have to use your words hunny," she said whispering shhh into my ear.

"He left me Courtney!" I turned to show her the bruise on the side of my face. It was green and yellow. She mouth dropped open. I continued to cry loudly.

"He told me I wasn't worth anything. And...and...no one could love an overweight bisexual girl. And and..." I couldn't finish telling the story. I was starting to hyperventilate.

"Deep breaths hun," she told me inhaling and exhaling loud and steadily so I'd follow. When my breathing slowed and the sobbing concluded. She got PISSED!

"That motherfucker is gonna pay for what he did to you," she screamed into the steering wheel. I actually got scared. Then she looked at me and calmed down. Yet again someone handed me a phone.

"What do you want me to do?" I asked her alarmingly confused.

"Call him, put it on speaker, and ask that son of a bitch why?"she yelled. I was shaking as I dialed his number. He picked up after the first ring.

"What to you want?" He asked annoyed.

"Why?" I paused, "why did you do this to me?"

"A bet," he said and hung up the phone. I started to cry again.
