Paisley's POV:

We've been on the road for 8 hours now. The ride is 13 hours and 47 minutes. It was now dark out. I couldn't sleep because it reminded me of him. I wouldn't call him by name anymore. Even when Courtney said his name I cried and told her never to say his name again. Majority of the ride has been tears and silence. I needed a shower and I need to sleep.

Courtney looked upset. I hadn't been her happy girl since what happened back in New York. So I wanted to help he feel better. I took her phone and she looked over at me.

"What are you doing silly goose?"she asked sweetly. Even through all of this she still is sweet. She still is understanding. She still loves me and she'll still smile. I placed my finger over my lips and she just nodded and laughed at me. I put on an album but paused it.

I grabbed the Torrid bags out the backseat. "Put these on!" I told her excited. She shook her head at me again, and I placed mine on. Here's were big black framed glasses with gold accents. Mine were thin silver framed hearts with blue lenses.

The I turned up the volume and resumed the songs. Then suddenly Rockstar by Nickelback came blaring through the speakers. Courtney looked at me and I shook my head and laughed.

"I'm through with standin' in lines to clubs I'll never get in.It's like the bottom of the ninth and I'm never gonna win. This life hasn't turned out quite  the way I want it to be!" We screamed out the windows I just pulled down.

Then in a low masculine voice I sang the dialogue part, "Tell me what you want!" I couldn't get it out without laughing. She laughed at me then we went on to the next verse. Eventually we'd gotten the the part that everybody knows, "Cause we all just wanna be big rockstars, and live in hilltop houses, drivin' fifteen cars. The girls come easy and the drugs come cheap,
we'll all stay skinny 'cause we just won't eat. And we'll hang out in the coolest bars in the VIP with the movie stars. Every good gold digger's gonna wind up there, Every Playboy bunny with her bleach blond hair.
And well, hey, hey, I wanna be a rockstar
Hey, hey, I wanna be a rockstar!"

Then we finally turned the radio down. We both just kept laughing so hard that we were crying.

"That was so much fun!" I laughed loudly. She pinched my cheek and I pushed her hand away. She was finally smiling I knew it would work. We share the same favorite band. Maybe my brother does too?

"We're two hours away but I think we both could use a rest," she said yawning. I nodded and started to snuggle into the seat. She chuckled quietly, "we'll be there in twenty minutes, and I'll stop to get dinner on the way." I popped up from how I was laying.

"What?!" She said alarmed. I took my purse out from the back seat. I handed her at least $800.00. She looked at me confused.

"Where did all this come from?"her hand was still sitting in the position in which I had handed her the money.

"Noah and I got all his money before we left his house, that's what I kept on me, and now he's gone so it's ours," I said it in my petty voice. She gave me a high five and put the money in her baby blue wallet.

Then I snuggled back into the seat and I was asleep. Not that I got to sleep that long. Because when I'd finally got a small quality rest we were at the hotel. She got IHOP for us. At least I woke up to the smell of pancakes and blueberry syrup.

Before I ate I went to take a shower. A nice long shower. I'd been in there for almost an hour when Courtney kicked me out. When I got out I'd remembered I left the bags in the car. Courtney was in the shower already so I would have to go in my towel. I walked out quickly and opened the car door when I heard someone.
