Minnie I'm already outside your house. Did you eat already??

I smiled as I saw Hyunjin's text. Standing up I took my backpack and texted him a quick reply.

To: Hyunjin <3

Mhm I just finished eating. I'll be out in a few!

I clicked send and took a quick look in the mirror. I sighed.

I wonder what Hyunjin saw in me? He's the most popular student in school and everyone would kneel in front of him just to be with him. Here I am, a nerd wearing glasses with a not-so messy hair. What did I do in my past life to deserve him?

I walked out of my house and saw Hyunjin waiting for me. He smiled once we had eye contact.

"Good morning. Sorry if you waited too long for me." I said as I walked to him

"It's okay Minnie. Let's go? We're gonna be late." He pointed at his watch

As soon as we're near the gates Hyunjin stopped walking which made me stop walking too.

"Uh..Minnie you can enter first. You know.." he whispered and scratched the back of his neck.

"It's okay," I sighed "I'll be going now. Do you have practice later??"

"Yeah. You can leave without me."

"No I can wait. I'll be at the library later. Bye." I say and hold onto my backpack.

"Okay Minnie. I'm so sorry about this. I'll make sure to make it up to you later okay? Bye." He looked left and right before giving me a light peck on my cheek

My cheeks heated up as I waved at him and started to walk to the gates. I sighed once again. When will we be a normal couple?? But then again I can't ruin his reputation in school...

I sighed once more and went to my lockers. Of course he can't tell everyone. Imagine, the heartthrob and the nerd together? Plus, nobody knows that he's gay. Just me and his friends.

The whole school would turn their back on them if they found out my relationship with Hyunjin. Maybe...we're better off like this..
