"Felix, I know you're very worried, but I assure you I'm fine," the boy said over the phone, "You don't have to call me literally every hour just to check on me."
Seungmin had already lost count on how many times Felix had called him since the group left his house. The freckled boy quoted that it was, 'so that you won't do anything stupid'. Not like the broken hearted boy did anything stupid. Aside from soaking himself in the bathtub for an hour and a half, crying his eyes out, he hasn't done anything stupid.
But it wasn't only the australian boy who bothered him. Han and Jeongin kept on texting him, even sending him voice messages that would either make you smile or shatter your eardrums. Hearing the sound of a high pitch shriek followed by a loud 'Hello Seungmo! Don't do anything dumb! We love you!' after a good four hour nap isn't certainly something Seungmin wouldn't want to hear. Well, except for the 'we love you' part but he'd rather not hear the rest.
Even Lia, whom he thought would be the most mature out of everyone kept checking up on him. Although she didn't text nor call him as often as the other three does, you could definitely tell that she is beyond worried for him. Who wouldn't want to have their first friend sad? Choi Jisu would definitely not want that.
"Yes but my spidey senses are tingling and it's telling me that I need to go there now!" The male huffed from the other line.
"It would be nice but it's literally 3 am Lix. Just go to sleep it's late. I promise you I won't do anything stupid." Seungmin could hear his friend grumble and speak a few incoherent words that included 'but you're not my mom to tell me when to sleep' or something along that line.
"Fine but I'm coming over later! And nothing is stopping me!"
"Whatever just sleep now okay? Bye." Seungmin had then ended the call after Felix said his goodbyes and plopped himself into his bed. His eyes were about to close but was interrupted once he heard his phone ring. Not even bothering to see who the caller is and assumed that it was either Felix again or Han, he answered the phone nonetheless.
"Listen guys it's literally 3am in the morning and I would really love to finally have some sleep. I understand that you guys are very worried but I won't do anything stupid so just call me when the sun is up!" His tone screamed annoyance, and maybe he shouldn't have been a little too harsh but who wouldn't blame him? It's most definitely an ungodly hour and all Seungmin really wants is to close his eyes and get some sleep.
"Kim Seungmin. We need to talk." A deep voice was heard on the other line and he was positive that it wasn't Felix. He was still on his right mind to recognize that it was a girl's voice which confused the heck out of him. But who ever she was, her voice demanded authority.
Seungmin quickly checked to see who the caller was but her number wasn't registered. "Who is this?" The boy asked as his face scrunched in confusion.
"Go to the address I sent you tomorrow at 1pm sharp. Don't be late."
"Wait what? Who are you? I'm not going to some place just because you told me so." He fired back in a matter of fact tone, trying to assert dominance so that whoever was on the other line wouldn't think that he would be easy to be ordered around.
"You're going there and if it makes you happy, I'm a friend of Hwang Yeji. So you better be there or else I would personally go to your house. All I need is thirty minutes of your time Kim. And don't try to bring anyone with you along." The female then ended the call without letting Seungmin interfere nor question her any longer.
Seungmin was lost after the phone call. Hearing the surname Hwang definitely caught his attention but what would Yeji's friend want from him? He never interacted with any of them because they weren't in any of his classes.
"Could it be.."
