(Sophie's POV)

"I used to think, that we, were forever ever ever
And I used to say never say never
Huh, he calls me up and he's like, I still love you
And i'm like, i'm just, I mean this is exhausting, you know
We are never getting back together, like ever."

Yeah. Typical me. Just driving on the highway at 2 p.m. blasting Taylor Swift. I mean she was ok, but it wasn't my genre of music. She just so happened to be on the radio at the moment.

So it's maybe been about two days since the whole Lauren thing. Has Hunter called me at all? No. Texted me at all? Nope. Is he hanging out with Lauren? Probably. Do I care at all? Of course not! Well, at least that's what I keep telling myself.

Why am I driving you may ask? Well, first of all.. I need my coffee. And second is because driving helps me forget about my problems. It just helps blow off the steam. Oh look.. a Starbucks! Praise cotton candy they have them everywhere nowadays.

I parked my beetle and headed inside. Once I stepped inside the heavy aroma of the coffee beans filled my senses. Did I mention how much I love smell?

I really love how all the Starbucks look so relaxing and kinda modern? I walked up to the counter and ordered a Carmel Mocha.

I waited for it to be done and went to go sit down at a table in the corner. I was sat there for about 3 minutes until I knew I wasn't going to enjoy my drink here. So I got up and slipped into my car. Then I headed to some place I knew I would love.

Don't know where I am yet? Well, I'm at the park that Hunter took me to. He picked a good spot too now that I think of it. I sat down under a tree so I was in the shade since it was kind of warm out. It's really peaceful and relaxing out here. I took out my Ipod from my bag and blasted Train- 50 Ways To Say Goodbye.

Sorta relevant don't you think?

"That's cool, but if my friends ask where you are I'm gonna say,

She went down in an airplane

Fried getting suntanned

Fell in a cement mixer full of quicksand
Help me, help me, I'm no good at goodbyes!
She met a shark under water
Fell and no one caught her
I returned everything I ever bought her
Help me, help me, I'm all out of lies
And ways to say you died"

Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder. Ugh please person just leave me alone. I just continued listening to Train hoping that the person would go away. I thought they were gone until I felt another tap.

I guess someone's not getting the hint.

I yanked my earbuds off and jumped up. "What do you want!" I looked up to see Hunter with a shocked face. My face immediately flushed red. "Oh gosh sorry, didn't know it was you." I muttered and slumped back down.

"Hey," he sat down and patted my leg, "what's up?"

"Oh, uh nothing really." I looked off into the lake to try to divert the conversation elsewhere. But he wasn't buying it.

He turned my head so we were looking eachother straight in the eyes. Oh gosh.. what his eyes did to me. I gulped. "Soph," he said smiling a bit, "I know you're lying."

I stuck my tounge out at him.

He just laughed and put his hands down. "So I actually came to see if you wanted to come to this sort of gathering, kind of like a party management's having for my nominations. And I want you to be there." He said looking down at his lap.

"Ehrmm.. sure. When is it." He looked up at me with a huge smile on his face. "It's tonight at 7 p.m." He said getting up really fast. "Hayes and you pick now to tell me?" He smirked and started walking backwards to his car. "Yeah." He said smiling.

"Well what do I wear?" Oh this boy is gonna get it. "Something casual. I'll text you the deets later." He winked and then hopped in his car and drove away.
