(Sophie's POV)
I had been awake for a couple of hours now. Just sitting on the kitchen counter while drinking a cup of tea and listening to the patter of the raindrops hitting the window sill. It was 7:30 am and the sun was no where to be seen.
I let out a strangled sigh and made my way towards the sofa. I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do so I just sat there, curled up in the warmth and safety of my blanket, just letting time pass me by. Another hour passed, Hunter was still asleep and my once full cup was empty. I got up padding my way to the kitchen to pour myself another cup.
"Good morning Beautiful." Someone whispered in my ear. I jumped up and shrieked which led to my cup crashing to the floor. I bent down to pick up the pieces but Hunter quickly picked me up and placed me on the counter.
"I'll get it Soph." He bent down to clean up my mess while I was trying to get myself "Happy" if you could even say that. I suppose Hunter had noticed because he was giving me odd looks. "You alright?"
No. Im not alright, I wanted to say. But I just smiled and told him that I was fine. He nodded not completely convinced and went to go wash his hands. "So, what would you like to do today?" He asked, a cute smile plastering his face.
I shrugged my shoulders not really having an idea. Just then Hunter's phone started buzzing. He looked at it and picked it up. "Go get ready Soph. Wear something comfortable."
I ran upstairs in search of what to wear. I threw on a cream sweater and a pair of black leggings. I tied up my combat boots and put my hair into a bun. I wasn't gonna even put on makeup and try today so I grabbed my bag and rushed downstairs. I saw Hunter standing by the door wearing a new pair of jeans and a blue v-neck.
"Where'd you get your clothes from?" He turned around and smiled at me.
"I asked Sam to stop by and drop them off. You ready?" I nodded my head and he opened the door.
He rushed to his car and opened the passenger door for me. "You look absolutely beautiful today."
My cheeks turned red and all I could do was look at my lap. He chuckled and shut the door.

(Hunter's POV)
We had been in the car no more than 10 minutes before Sophie started asking where we were going.
"We're almost there." All she did was huff and murmur something about surprises. We pulled up into the parking lot of the mall and she gave me a questioning look. I quickly unbuckled my seat belt and jumped out of the car to open her door. She was still gathering her things when I opened the door and was surprised to see me.
"Thank you." She mumbled still blushing. I grabbed her hand and started walking towards the entrance. Sophie immediately pulled me into a store and started looking at the clothes.
It' so cute how her nose scrunches up when she's debating or confused. And how when she smiles she get's little crinkle's by her eyes. And how even though she's wearing no makeup she looks like an absolute princess.
"Hunter. Hunter!" All of a sudden I hear Sophie calling my name and waving her hands in front of my face. How long did I space out thinking about her?
"Oh sorry, what were you saying?" She shook her head and chuckled.
"I was saying," she said exaggerating the words. "Which shirt should I get?" I examined the two pieces of clothing she held up.
"Get them both." She looked at me with huge eyes. "No, I mean they cost too much and-"
I grabbed her hand. "Soph, this is all on me." She shook her head in protest.
"No, Hunter that's very kind of you but-" I squeezed her hand in reassurance.
"Sorry Soph but you don't have a say on this one." She smiled at me still shaking her head.
"You're ridiculous Hayes." She said slapping my chest.
"But that's why you love me." I sang out. She blushed once again and we continued shopping.

We were walking towards the exit when something caught my eye. How could I forget? I pulled Sophie's hand into the direction of the store. "Hunter, why are we going into a Swim Wear store?"
I shook my head and laughed a bit. "I'll tell you later. Just go pick a couple out ok?" She smiled and went off once again, looking through the racks. I easily found myself three shorts and I sat down on a stool until she was done. I saw her head weaving through the aisles and she finally popped up holding three suits.
I smiled at her and payed for them. We exited the mall, hand in hand, with both of us smiling at each other. We got home and I rushed upstairs to put the bags in her room. I came down and went to the kitchen where Sophie was raiding the fridge.
"How about we get take out?" I said laughing a bit. She happily agreed with me. The food arrived about 30 minutes later and we were sat at the kitchen counter. Her opposite of me.
"So, why did we buy all that stuff today?" she asked me. Well, that sure didn't last long. I guess it's time to tell her.
"Well, Soph. I got a call this morning saying that they had some gigs open, if I was willing to do them. Of course I couldn't turn down the offer so I said yes. But they're all the way in California." She had stopped eating and looked down into her lap.
"But, I want you to come with me." She looked up and her mouth dropped open.
"Hunter, I can't. What about school and my Mom and Sister and work and-" I squeezed her hand to calm her down.
"Don't worry. I talked to your Mom today and she said it was fine. That it gave you a chance to experience the world. And your school said that was fine too as long as you would keep up with your classes online."
I walked over to her side and tilted her face towards me."Everything will be alright."
