A.N. Ok so here is another one shot sorry It kinda has the same overall theme. But it is different as well. This one does not have dark content like the last one. Anyways hope you all enjoy!

"Colby do you uh... want to film something?"

Sam said in a frantic and desperate attempt to get Colby to stay. Colby who was half way out the door, half way inside their apartment turned his head to look at Sam.

"Sam, I'm going over to Brennen's."

"Oh uh ok... well what about tomorrow?"

"We already made plans for him and I to film."

Sam looked down at his feet. He felt so awkward, and slightly rejected by Colby. Sam then thought of another thing he could say to get Colby to stay. But by the time he could lift his head up to say it Colby had closed their apartment door and left. Sam knew he was loosing Colby more and more every day. Colby never spent any time with Sam other than to to film videos. But at the same time Sam knew that there wasn't a way to make Colby come back to him. Colby was lost, and Sam couldn't find him. Or maybe he was only lost to Sam's eyes.

Sam walked into his new apartment. He immediately saw a huge spiraling staircase. He told himself multiple times to focus on the good things about moving into an apartment...alone. He couldn't focus on the bad parts like not living with Colby for the first time since they moved out to L.A. Over the past month Sam had fallen into a deep state of depression. He felt like his whole life was turning into a downward spiral. Almost like the staircase in front of him, how ironic. And top of all of that Sam had a secret that was killing him day by day. He was bisexual, and Sam hated himself for it. He was alone in trying to figure himself out as well. Colby hasn't talked to him in a year. They put the Sam and Colby Youtube channel on hold, stating to their fans that they had some issues they needed to work out. In reality Colby hung out with Brennen more and more every day but never any more with Sam. And Sam had no idea what he ever did to cause all of this. 

Even when they lived in the traphouse Colby only put on an act. If they were in front of a camera, for when their friends would film with them, Colby acted like him and Sam were all good.  But once all of the cameras were off Colby couldn't even stay in the sam room as Sam. Now Sam was in his own apartment, but it was right next to Colby's but he could deal with it. Could Colby? Sam had one last attempt to make things better with Colby. So they could possibly go back to how it use to be between the two and put all of this behind them. Sam walked out his door and knocked on Colby's door next door.

Colby opened the door right away and immediately gasped. Sam gave Colby a look of confusion before looking down at himself to see if he was bleeding, because Colby's reaction was so harsh. Nothing, absolutely nothing.  Sure, Sam probably had dark bags underneath his eyes and his hair might have been a little messy. And sure Sam might be on the skinnier side because he hasn't been eating but it was nothing to totally gasp about.

"What?" 

Sam asked.

"What are you doing here Sam?"

Colby retorted.

"Can't I come see my best friend that lives next to me?"

Sam said with hope in his voice, hoping Colby would notice.

"Your not my best friend Sam."

Sam's heart broke. He felt a burning sensation come to his ocean blue eyes. He felt his legs, arms, everything go completely weak. He slowly felt a panic attack coming over him. He tried to hold everything in like he always does and mastered so greatly at the Traphouse. To keep himself from being pitied or seen as the weak one by his roommates. Sam could barely keep this one in. He opened his mouth to speak loudly but he was only able to speak softly.

"Since w-when?"

Sam said panicky.

"We NEVER were best friends, God Sam take a hint. Why do you think I've been trying to avoid you for 3 years now!" Colby yelled then huffed in frustration. Sam felt burning, boiling liquid slip down his cheeks a couple at a time. Colby's face of anger dropped at the sight of a shaking, hyperventilating Sam. Sam stood there thinking over his options. He could either make a comeback at Colby. But he knew he didn't have the strength to do that. Or Sam could run back to his apartment and lock the door so he could be alone. Surprisingly Sam did neither. Sam looked up to meet Colby's blue eyes. 

"O-okay Colby."

Sam said this in one of the softest, most heart breaking voice Colby had ever heard. Most people would go home after that. But Sam didn't feel like he had a home anymore. Sam instead took two steps back slowly. then he quickly turned around. Sam felt so much pain it was absolutely unbearable. 

"Sam... wait!"

Sam didn't listen. At this point Sam ran out. Faster then he ever had in his life. His heart was burning but not from running, but being broken. Sam ran out of their apartment building. He still needed to run so he decided to run down the street. Continuing at full speed. He saw roads he had never seen before but he continued running. He ran past Hollywood Boulevard. He ran through all different types of neighborhoods. He finally couldn't take it anymore. He stopped running but not quick enough to stop himself from running into a building. He crashed into it luckily catching himself a bit with his hands. He was heavily breathing now. He slowly rose to his feet and leaned against the building for support. He noticed the Hollywood sign right away. He was breathing in fresh air but he had never felt so trapped and claustrophobic in his life. His heart felt like it was going to give out at any moment.

And in all honestly if it did, Sam would be slightly relieved.
