There was state testing today for some career ready things. It was so easy it wasn't even funny, with questions like: "If a shirt costs $20 and there was a 20% discount, what will the new price be?" or "Susan uses 3.75 yards of fabric to make a skirt. How many yards of fabric should Susan use to make 7 shirts?"

That was just the math portion. There was also a reading portion, graph portion, and soft skills portion.

We spent almost the entire school-day taking the test, about the time it takes for us to take the ACT or SAT.

Funny thing is, I thought this state test thing would require more brain juice, so I ate a 600-calorie breakfast. Let me just break this down for you guys. I don't need to write down the specific foods, because trust me, there's a lot:

Breakfast:
600 calories

Snack during test break:
100

Lunch:
500

Then school was over and I went home to get ready for a soccer game. Then I ate some chips as a snack:

Afterschool snack:
100

Calories total: 1300
Calories left: 0

If I had just left it at that, I would've been fine. But nooooo. I had ample amount of time left before we were required to warm up, so I hit up the nearest Dollar General and bought a pack of fun-sized Peanut M&M's. Then I ate the whole pack.

+540.

Good news is that today was our first region win against RH, our rival school, 2-0. Whoop whoop!

Total Calories: 1840
