Ok so this is a question I can't completely answer in the story so I'm just Answer it hear the ask about leaf in the story. Leaf is her own character but counts as a different skin. Skins like that work kinda like back up. Same goes with inkling. Each skin is their own person but they are each off doing there own things. Most other skins are just characters in different outfits the 'audience' requests (like sexy Shulk) if their are any question about this sort of thing I'll just answer it in the comments

"Were sibling. if you must know ok the older twin!" Popo puffed out his chest as Lucas giggled muttering
"I'm the younger one..." Lucas muttered. wasn't very open about his past but he liked to share little things to the group
"You have a twin!? I'll be you twin brother while we're here!" He grinned
"No way I'll be his older brother" ness Smiled from his chair looking back at them
"No offence ness but there's a lot of work in being a twin brother."
"Yeah and you clearly understand PSI" ness grinned holding up two fingers as if threatening to use pk fire
Popo huffed as Lucas just laughed "your all like brothers to me" that made them both grin and nod in agreement
"We can all be brothers!" Popo grinned
"Including nana?" Ness giggled
"Yes!" Popo giggled as Lucas laughed laying in his back
"And from that day fourth the name super smash brothers made sense" ness said mimicking master hands voice
They all laughed at their dumb joke
They all shot joke back and fourth to eachother as their was a knock at the door
Panicked ness quickly closed his computer as samus walking in looking at the panicked boy on the computer chair
