Prompto ended up staying the night with you in your room, sharing nothing more than the loving kiss he initiated. Seeing your replication of his favorite photo with you with Juno made Prompto's heart swell. You remembered it was his favorite and nothing meant more to him than the gesture itself. You knew the little things about him and treated them as being just as important as the big things.

Waking up with you in his arms brought Prompto so much joy, he just couldn't contain it - he peppered your face and neck with kisses, awakening you in the process and making you giggle. There were still gaps in the overall scheme of things, but Prompto knew by getting all the raw emotions out, it would be easier to express and explain things to one another.

Although it was still early, both of you found that Dave and Ezma were already out and about. You cooked up a quick breakfast for the two of you, while Prompto made coffee. Although you two were in perfect sync, there was something weighing heavy on Prompto's conscience.

"(Your Name)?" He began, biting his bottom lip as he chose his words carefully, "Can you tell me what happened to Juno?" Watching you as you plated both your meals and brought them to the dining table.

"Can I tell you with the rest here? It's not... something I find easy to explain over and over again," You asked, relief taking over your expression when Prompto nodded with a small smile.

It didn't take long for breakfast to finish up, with Prompto following your instructions to bring the guys over for a much needed debrief. He found out that Charlie, Dave, and Ezma decided to stay with the other hunters for the evening. Prompto thanked them over and over again, as Charlie and Dave filed into the cottage unable to believe they went that far to give the space needed for things to be discussed privately.

"I take it you both took the time to sort things out between you?" Dave asked, glancing between you and Prompto.

"A few things," Prompto replied, "Not all... since there is a lot more,"

"But that's what today is for," You announced, nodding your head at Dave when his expression turned sullen.

"So I take it that we will learn of your daughter then?" Ignis asked curiously, receiving a nod from you as you took your respective seat next to Prompto. Prompto wrapped his hand around yours on your lap, intertwining your fingers and feeling you relax a little from the gesture.

"Don't push yourself for our sake," Gladio assured.

"As much as it hurts, Prompto has yet to hear what happened to Juno," Prompto rubbed his thumb soothingly on your hand, feeling your grip tighten a little as you spoke.

"Very well," Ignis nodded, signaling for you to start.

"As you already know, Juniper Penelope Argentum is Prompto and my daughter," You started, "I realized I was pregnant when I was a couple of months in the mission. Considering the situation here in Meldacio and the rapport built over the first few months, I reported to Drautos to extend my stay here and allow me to live here under the guise of a Hunter,"

"I am surprised His Majesty and Drautos approved this," Gladio huffed, "It's not ideal to have a pregnant glaive carry out her mission,"

"My words exactly," Charlie griped, "But she's a stubborn one this girl," She continued, shrugging and blowing hair out of her face.

"I had my reasons," You mumbled, "Plus it served as a good excuse for us to further investigate here,"

"That I cannot deny," Charlie agreed. "The mission turned from proactive to investigative,"

"Just from (Your Name) being pregnant?" Noctis asked curiously, looking up at Charlie.

"Initially, it was to make amends the broken bonds between the Hunters and Insomnia," Charlie explained, "However, after meeting the locals here and hearing about Sol, we quickly realized there was an opportunity to resolve an ongoing issue that the Crownsguard have supposedly been at a loss in resolving,"
