The weekend ended and it was back to school for everyone. Knowing it would be the same boring routine, Natasha begrudgingly got dressed into her school uniform. She put on the minimal amount of makeup, grabbed her things, then left.

Class started out the same. Mrs. Jones welcomed everyone and started the lesson. But it all changed when someone came screeching down the hall. A girl with wild blue eyes and brown hair ran in.

"The class! The class. And-and these people! They just- and then" she kept repeating the broken sentences over and over again.

"Come," Mrs. Jones stood up and gestured to her seat. "Please sit down."

The girl, now very pale, sat down in the chair. Right as she hit the seat, the power went out.

"Now please explain what is going on!" Mrs. Jones exclaimed.

Right as the girl was going to open her mouth, a gun shot could be heard. Students gasped and some even screamed. Natasha stood up from her seat, ready to go help the other students.

"Where are you going?" Demanded Loki, who also stood up.

She looked over her shoulder at him, a determined look on her face. "I'm going to help!"

"I don't think you should." He protested.

But she didn't listen to him. Before he could grab her arm, she ran out of the class room towards the place where she had heard the gun fire. She could here her teacher yelling at her, telling her to get back here. But she didn't listen.

Somewhere in her gut, she knew exactly what had happened. They had found her. They wanted to take her back and right as she was getting her life back together; right as she had received new friends. It would all be taken away from her.

Natasha crept along the darkened halls, being as quiet as she could. She pulled her sock down and unstrapped the small knife that she always had with her. Once she had that, she quietly walked towards her locker, unlocked it and pulled out the two hand guns she had hidden in there, tucking the knife in her skirts pocket.

Now she was set. She knew she couldn't take them all on, but it was worth it to save innocent lives.

She kept walking down the hallways. Every step she took was silent thanks to her training. When she rounded the corner she could hear sobbing coming from the science class. She pressed her whole body against the wall and peered into the class.

Her heart skipped a beat. The world spun around her as her worst fear was confirmed. They were here to take her back! How had they found her? She jumped as someone gently placed their hand on her back. She spun around, the guns in her hands ready to be fired at any moment.

"It's just me!" Loki hissed, raising his hands in the air.

Natasha let out the breath she had been holding in. Turning back to the room, she looked in once more.

Loki grabbed her by the shoulders and spun her around towards him. "You are not going in there!"

"You can't tell me what to do," She hissed, giving him a glare.

She tore away from him and looked in the room once again.

"Where is Natalia Romanova?" A voice said with a thick Russian accent.

Nobody said anything. Somebody in the room was looking at the door directly at Natasha. Right before the man with the accent turned to follow that person's gaze, Natasha hid again, pushing Loki around the corner and into the shadows.

Natasha heard his footsteps and held her breath, pressing her back onto the wall. She didn't know who the man was, but she knew exactly where he had come from. Once he had went back into the room, she turned towards Loki.

"I have to stop them. So are you going to help or not?" She whispered.

Loki shrugged. "I think that you are crazy if you think you can stop them! Why don't we call the cops?"

"They are probably intercepting the signal right now. The rest of them are probably outside, waiting for the signal. Nobody will be able to get in or out." She said.

"How would you know this? And why were they asking for you?" Loki asked.

Natasha waived dismissively. "It doesn't matter."

 "It actually does."

 "Shh!"

Loki sighed behind her, but she continued to ignore him.

"Tell me where Natalia is or else one of you will end up like your teacher." The man said.

Again, it was mostly silence besides the whimpers coming from the scared students.

"Alright. If none of you will answer, this boy will get it." The man growled.

There was a few screams in the room. Natasha glanced around the corner and found that the new kid, Peter, was being held by his hair. The man pulled a gun out and pointed it to his head.

"Three," he started.

"No please! Let me go!" Peter cried out.

"Two."

Peter clenched his eyes shut. The look on his face made Natasha want to cry.

Natasha couldn't bear it. She ran in the room, pulling one of her guns out and aiming it at the guy. She knew that as soon as she pulled the trigger a bunch of others from the Red Room would come rushing in.

But, she pulled it anyway. The second the man turned to face her, the second he was about to fire his gun, that's when she shot him. Right in the middle of his forehead. His eyes crossed, blood spilling from his forehead and into his face. The gun fell from his hand and his body hit the ground with a sickening thud.

Natasha rushed over to Peter. His face was pale and he looked as if he would throw up.

 "Are you alright?" She asked.

Peter couldn't say anything, but he nodded.

Loki rushed into the room behind her. "What were you thinking?" he yelled. "Are you a crazy woman? Where did you even get that gun?"

"There's no time to explain. We have to get these students into Mrs. Jones class room."

"Odin's beard. What the devil is she going to do?" Loki asked sarcastically.

 "Protect them."

And on that note, Natasha had all the students stand up and had them walk with Loki to Mrs. Jones. Now that they were gone, she could look around at what happened.

Over in the corner, the science teacher was dead. He had been shot in the stomach, his shirt was drenched in blood. So that was probably when they heard the gun fire.

"Petrov. Petrov. Do you copy?" The radio attached to the man's belt flashed, bringing in the signal from the people outside.

"Answer now, or we are coming in."

Her heart froze. That meant the rest of them would be coming for her. She had to get out of there and quickly, or else, everything she had would be taken away from her.
