Chapter 6- Alone Time

"Please Mummy!" Anna shouted as she jumped up and down excitedly.

I turned to German and he shook his head.

"Daddy said no honey."

"Well how come they get to go?" she asked pointing to German, Valeria, Gabriella and Helena.

"Because we're not their parents, and we said no." Replied German.

"Chill out a bit." Leon said as he walked over. "How about Vilu and I take the kids out and you and Angie can have some alone time?"

"Are you sure?" German asked.

"Yeah, don't worry."

He then took Anna's hand and they walked off.

We were left there standing alone.

"So, what should we do?" I asked.

There was a long pause before German replied.

"I don't know."

"I think this is the first time in a while that we have actually been alone with no kids to watch."

"Yeah."

"Shall we go back to the hotel room?" I asked, trying to make the situation less awkward.

"Okay."

When we got to the right floor, German opened the door to the corridor for me. I walked along the aisle trying to remember our room number.

"Room 26." German said as he opened the door leading to our room.

I walked in first and sat down on the bed.

German closed the door behind him then disappeared around the corner.

I started to play with my charm bracelet while I was waiting. It was left to me in my mum's will and had not been taken off since the day I got it. María gave it to her before that, so it almost felt like a gift from both of them.

I heard a rustling noise from the corner German had disappeared around.

A few seconds later, he walked out from around the corner holding my little red dress.

"Are you ready for the most romantic evening ever?" He asked placing the dress on the bed and walking over so I could almost feel his breath on my cheek.

"It depends, what exactly would this evening consist of?" I asked. I could feel my heart beginning to beat faster.

He moved in closer and whispered into my ear.

His warm breath sent shivers down my spine.

He pulled back and held the dress out. I reached up to get it before running of round the corner to put it on.
