Chapter 12- Home

Our holiday was over and we were just about to get on our plane back to Buenos Aires. As much as I enjoyed the holiday, I coudn't wait to get back home. It had been a long day.

"Flight 247 to Buenos Aires, Argentina now boarding."

"That's us." I said as I stood up and bent down to pick up Maria. Vilu was struggling enough with the rest of her children, so I told her I'd look after Maria on the plane for her.

German followed me over to the desk and I handed the lady all our boarding passes. She checked them before nodding and allowing us through.

When we finally found our seats and sat down, a hostess came to the front and began to run through the health and safety instructions.

As the plane began to take off, I looked behind me at Vilu. She had always been scared of flying She was leant against Leon who was holding her tightly.

I leant into German, not because I was scared, but because I wanted to. He seemed a bit shocked but put his arm around me. 

I felt my eyelids slowly closing as we went higher and higher.

Someone was shaking me ad disturbing my dream.

I opened my eyes and saw German.

I frowned at him.

"What?"

"I was sleeping."

"But we are landing, you can sleep at home."

"Okay." I sighed.

In the car on the way back, Amelia was driving as she was trying to pass her test.

We were in the back.

German turned to me.

"You look pretty even in the dark."

"You're so sweet, but is now really the time?" I asked looking at the kids in the seats behind us.

"We can make it the time." He said slowly moving in before kissing me on the lips.

"Ewww!" Said Pablo from behind us.

We pulled apart and began to laugh.

"To be continued." German whispered in my ear.

The minute we walked through the front door, I dropped the bags by the door and flopped down on the sofa. I then stood up again, remembering that Vilu, Leon and the kids were staying with us. I had to prepare a room for them. Now that Olga and Romallo had left, it meant a lot more work for me!

I closed Amelia's door and went to see Vilu and Leon to say goodnight.

They were in Vilu's old room and the kids were in one of the guest rooms.

I was about to open the door, but I heard giggling from inside, I saw a sign on the door that said "Do NOT Disturb!"

I decided to give them some privacy so headed towards mine and German's room.

German was already in bed, so I got changed and climbed in next to him.

He immediately rolled over and kissed me on the lips.

"That was to apologise for waking you up. But now let's sleep and we can continue tomorrow."
