Relationship Level Up

After a few weeks, Phil and Bubbles both began to recover. Once Phil got out of the hospital, he was still feeling better but still pretty unsure with the trial coming up and not enjoying having to take Amber to go identify the men who raped her. Connie had taken in some men for questioning while Phil was in the hospital that were at the club that night that fit Ambers blurred description and memory.
Angie,James and Jacinto all decided to go over house to see Amber and to see if Phil was feeling better after the incident that happened while Bubbles,Stella and Oscar were out at the park.Angie finally was out of the hospital that day. She unable to go see Phil in her condition. She was doing well now too and was able to finally walk again after dealing with some Chronic pain in her legs after the car accident.

As soon as Phil opened the door Angie began to cry as soon as she saw his face it was the first time she saw him since she heard about what happened and just ran over to him practically disappearing right in his arms with her tiny stature.

"Oh my god! Phil!"

"Ang!!" Phil cried relived picking her up off the ground and spinning around ecstatic to see his baby sister on two feet practically herself again. Angie laughed with her arms around his neck holding on laughing and crying in joy continuing to hug him as he put her back down.

"Shit I'm so glad you're still here damn I could have now had two dead brothers!" Angie sniffed letting go briefly to looking up at her big brother with tears in her eyes very upset at that thought of him being gone too soon as well.

"Hey Hey now! Shhhh but I'm not dead sis I'm alive and I'm here right in front of you see?" Phil assured her dried her eyes as placing her hand on his face to comfort her and so she knew he was actually with her. Angie just shook and kept touching his head and hair and nodded acknowledging his words and just hugged him again with a tight grasp as Phil just held her back patting her head and shoulders.

After that Phil let them in and Amber greeted the three as they all sat down to talk. James, Jacinto and Angie all shared their thoughts about Phil when he explained everything that caused his downfall, Phil smiled feeling very moved by the love and support from his dear friends and younger sister. Once there was a appropriate timing in the conversation. James then decided to make an announcement.

"Well I'm glad you're in a lot of a better place  Phil, cause I have an special announcement to make to everyone but it's mostly for My Angie." James Said as he stood up from the couch then took Angies hand

"Angie, I know these past few months have been rough on all of us, but I do see some positive light shining through, and I wanna ask you a very important question to help make this a even more better future and grow and get through this.." He said

"What is it baby?" Angie said looking into her boyfriends eyes

James then gets down on one knee in front of her,Jacinto, Phil,Amber. Stella Oscar and Bubbles walk in the door just in time to see what James is about to do and keep quiet as James was about to clearly ask that important question. Angie realized this too as they then got more tears and in her eyes knowing what will be coming.

"Angie Carey, will you Marry Me?" James asked

"YES!!!!" Angie cries as she just kept kissing James all over and hugging Him over and over as Jade and Amber are also now in tears with their arms around eachother watching in awe.

Phil even choked up and was full of Joy and thrill to hear Angie saying yes to James proposal, James laces the ring on her finger and they both shared another kiss as Amber, Bubbles, Phil,Jade and Jacinto cheer with joy over the proposal. Phil got up to go embrace his sister and James so happy she finally was going to have a good man in her life that they both knew and loved.

"Hey Congratulations ya Purple bastard! Now if you did what her last husband did know that I will kick your ass if you dare to break my baby sisters heart" Phil teased James

"Thank you, Phil and you know how much I love Angie and you all." James said as they shared a hug.

"So that's pretty much means that you're gonna go from my high school pal to being my uncle huh?" Amber Jokes as she gave James and her aunt congratulatory hug.

"Oh god please don't go there" James jokes as they laughed.

"Even Remember Ambers not biologically related to me or Bubbles" Phil reminded him

"Oh ya but still kinda of weird to think about that" James said with a chuckle.

"Well all just think of you as Angie's husband James I think Stella and Oscar will be the only ones calling you uncle James being they see you as a grownup" Bubbles said

"Ya kidding mom? He always been uncle James even when they were just boyfriend and girlfriend" Oscar said as everyone chuckled a little.

Angie looked back over at her brother to see Phil was misty eyed.

"Hey you Alright?" She asked with a hand on his back.

"Oh I am Angie I'm okay I'm just so happy and ya know I feel like someone else is also proud of and happy for you" Phil said

"Oh who?" Angie asked curious as to what he was even talking about

"Ma and Larry! They would-hell I just know and can feel their presences right now..which I never felt before really..they're very proud of the woman you've grown up to become and happy to see you with a man who loves you as much we all do" Phil said choking up as Angie cried hearing this and just hugged him.

"Aw Phil! Thank you! I can feel their presences too now that you mention it. I miss them so much and just wish they could be here so James could meet them.." Angie said

"Awww I know Ang me too and James Lyle would be so proud too" Phil said to James

"That means a lot to hear from you Phil thanks" James said with a smile as he wrapped an arm around his new fiancée shoulders as she shared another kiss with him.
