Altea Park was beautiul. That was Lance's first thought as he approched the dimly lit park in the early morning. It was still dark, and the city was still. The lamposts illuminated the dew drops that scattered the bushes across the small park and shone a light on the beautiful, wooden bench sitting under a large willow tree. Something gold glinted off it. As Lance drew closer, he saw an inscription carved on the side,
'To my beautiful husband, Alfor. I will never stop missing you.'
Lance smiled to himself, softly. This was the perfect place. Keith knew him really well, despite the fact they'd only been on one date. Around the park, love was everywhere. On the bench, in the spiderwebs, in the willow, on the soft gass, on the pathway....aproaching him.
Keith walked toward Lance on the gravely pathway. His wide smile when he saw Lance was lit only by the faint light that the lamp above them gave. Even though, he could hardly tell it was one, Lance returened the smile. Keith stopped in front of him and suddenly Lance was accutely aware of his height. Keith was taller than him, only a little, but still. Anyone else would think Keith looked scary. Lance just thought he looked cute.
"So, mullet. This park is a beautiful place for a second date. Gonna be hard to top this for the third one." Lance teased.
"Very, funny, Lance. But this isn't where the date is. This is only one stop."
"Well its a hellava good one if I do say so myself. Did you see the bench? Very romantic."
"Lance. It's a bench. How could that be romantic?" Keith asked.
"Look at the inscription." Lance soflty muttered.
Keith walked over to the bench, curious and stared at the gold plate for a couple of minutes.
"That's beautiful." He finally said.
"Yeah. Do you ever imagine what that's like? A love that deep and meanigful."
Keith looked Lance in the eye for a couple of seconds.
"I don't have to." He said. Lance blushed, furiously and quickly stated that they better head on.
Keith took Lance by the arm and led him toward the park exit, a shy smile on his face.

~AUTHOR NOTE~
Hello all. Thanks for following the development off this story so far! Are you liking it? I just wanted to let you know that I know there was a bit of a hiatus for a while but life has been crazy. I'm kinda venturing into a new step in life so it's been a lot of work lately. In the meantime, between chapters, read horsegirlyellow's BNHA fanfiction: the new girl. She's a really good friend of mine and her writing is really good! That's all for today.
Goodnight and goodbye.
