Chapter 1

Simone

"Are we really going to do this in broad daylight?!" I asked Deon looking around frantically.

"Yes now shut up." He replied making hand gestures towards the house.

"Then I'm going in." I said.

As I went into the house I noticed how small it was. It had 3 rooms and one of them had to be a bathroom.

I heard footsteos and knew that Deon had finally came into the house. I went into the room to the left of me.

I seen a single bed and a small dresser, nothing was in here. This family must be struggling, but so are we. I went outside the room and seen that Deon was checking the front door.

As he walked passed he said, "The bathroom has nothing." When he said that I got nervous. This is the second house we robbed today and so far we found nothing.

Deon walked further  into the other room and immediately came out. He also had nothing.

"I can't believe we both found nothing!" I complained loudly.

"I know, shut up!" He yelled back causing me to cower. "Now let's go." With that said he started leaving

I ran after him nearly bumping onto an old man. "Sorry sir," I apologized not knowing that I just spoke to a man who just seen us in mask let alone running from a house we just broke into. Hopefully it's not obvious.

I finally caught up with Deon at the end of the block and once i stopped i started breathing like a woman who hasn't have water for days.

"H-how come you're not tired?"I asked.

"Because I work out," Deon replied. "Obviously. Let's hurry and get home."I nodded as I got into the black little Smart Car we had.

Its ugly, but it's all we have to get around. Yeah we stole this car and illegally had a friend make us a fake license plate. So far, no cops have noticed.

"Look things are hard Simone," Deon began. "But I promise we'll get through everything. Just me and you."

His words made me fall in love all over again...

1 year back

Deon

I've been in this bar for a while. My friends are drunk as fuck and I can hardly walk straight. Good thing we're friends with the owner, he'd probably let is crash here.

It's about 5 hours until the bar closes. Maybe we should get going.

I tried standing up but I started to slump over. I felt tiny hands on my body and my arms went around the tiny figure for more support.

I sobered up enough to get a good glimpse of the person who caught onto me.

"A woman..?" I slurred.

"Yes," She chuckled. "A woman." Her voice ran through my brain and it was so..so sexy.

"Are you okay?" She asked me. I shook my head no and she helped me sit down. "Maybe you should have some water. You've been drinking too much." She stated.

I honestly, I only had 5 shots of some liquor about 1 hour ago. I should sober up any minute now.

"Egor,"Her voice called. "This guy needs water."

So she knows the owner?

"Hey Simone!"He exclaimed happily. "Good to see you here- oh I see you've met Deon." He said in disgust.

Simone is a pretty name.

She laughed, "Is that his name? Deon? Well Deon it seems like you have been drinking a lot."

"No, It's been about an hour since I've had a shot. I should be sobering up." I think I am already anyway.

"Still," She smiled. "You need water."

I smiled back at her and took the water Egor gave me. His hand touched mine and he screeched.

"Eek! Man germs!"

I rolled my eyes but felt happy as I heard Simone laugh. She was honestly so gorgeous.

Her brown skin compliments her green eyes that I now could see clearly. Her hair is thick but it's put up into a bun. I wonder how beautiful she would look with it down.

"Are you done staring..Deon..?" The way my name rolled off her tongue..it's so inviting.

"Ugh," Egor rolled his eyes. "Men and their lust. So ridiculous."

"Say," She said. "You don't seem to be in a rush, walk me home."

I looked at her. She wasn't asking, she was telling me; demanding me to walk her home.

"O-okay."

That night when we left out the bar, and we arrived at her place, we had sex. But it was passionate, it didn't feel like a one night stand.

Any other man would have left as soon as the woman fell asleep. But I didn't, I stayed. And I stayed ever since. But little did she know.
