Simone

I stared at Cadince's body as I watched blood pour out of her head. I couldn't help but continuously think that I did that.

I killed someone.

I killed a woman who had her life worked out all because mine wasn't.
"Simone." Deon shook me but I didn't take my eyes off of her. It surprised me with how calm Deon was. How could he be so calm?

"Simone." He said in a more demanding tone. Still, I couldn't take my eyes off her body. I killed her, I took her life. She probably has a daughter, she probably has a son. She probably has grandchildren.

"SIMONE!" This time Deon screamed and turned my body to face him. "You have to snap out of it."

I felt my legs quiver and my hands shake. I was scared.. she's dead..she's no longer living.

"Simone, baby, stop zoning out. She's dead. You killed her." Deon said. "You have to let it go there's nothing we can do." He said pulling me into his arms.

I instantly started to feel myself calm down as I lie on his chest, in his arms, safe.

I must be so insensitive to have murdered someone and then let my boyfriend hug me.

I suddenly felt dizzy and sick in his arms. Everything in my body felt weak, especially my eyes.

My eyes...

Deon

I watched Simone as her body weakened in my arms. She was in the process of fainting and I didn't blame her. She just killed someone for the first time.

Her body finally flopped and I held her in my grip. I picked her up bridal style and stepped over Cadince's body taking a quick look at her.

"Damn," I whispered. "I never got a head shot before." I laughed to myself while watching Simone's beautiful face slowly turn pale. "I'm sorry." I whispered to her.

I carried her all the way up the stairs, down the hallway, and to our apartment. Egor immediately turned his head towards the door eyes going wide by the sight of Simone's body in my hand.

"What the fuck did you do to her?" He asked.

"I didn't do anything. She killed Cadince and fainted."

"Hurry up and get your filthy hands off her." He said going into the bathroom and coming out with a towel.

I quickly layed simone on the bed and watched her. Egor came over and placed the towel on her head and pushing her silky brown hair behind her ear.

If this man wasn't gay, I'd blow his head off in an instant. Speaking of Egor, I never really knew why he was so infatuated with Simone.

"Egor how did you meet Simone?" His face furrowed and his tone got serious.

"I don't think i should tell you.." He said. "Simone doesn't really like her business out there."

"She is unconscious right now she won't hear a thing." I stated. "Just tell me."

"Well.."

[Egor]

I looked at Simone then back at nasty ass Deon.

"A year ago about 4 months before you and her met she came to the bar with tears in her eyes. Like alot."

"Go on." He stated.

"And well.."

Flashback

The bar door slammed open and a woman with tears down her face came in.

She sat down at my post and put her head down crying in her arms.

I didn't know if I should just let her cry or tell her that she's a bad bitch and that she didn't need a man. I approached her and took breaths before talking.

"What man pissed you off honey?"

She looked up and her green eyes were clouded red.

"How do you know?" She said wiping her puffy eyes while sniffling.

"Girl you came into a bar crying. People drink their sorrows away here. I can tell that a man ruined your day, because truthfully they ruin mine too."

She laughed and smiled which made me slightly happy because a bad bitch like her didnt need to cry.

"Please, just get me drunk with anything." She asked. "Not anything anything but something that'll get me drunk."

I looked at he like she was dumb but then quickly reverted back to normal. "You lucky my shift is all night otherwise I wouldn't have." How crazy could this woman be to get drunk in a bar? Alone at that.

I quickly fixed her a drink and she drank it all the way down. About 10 minutes later she started to hiccup which meant the girl was drunk.

"He didn't deserve me anyway!" She slurred.

I'm not one to get in someone's business but..i doubt I'll ever see this woman again. I'm a sucker for gossip anyway.

"What happened girl?" I asked her.

"My ex Arin!" She yelled. "He found out I was infertile and left me." She said taking another drink. "I mean, it's not my fault a baby don't wanna come out my pussy."

I struggled to hold in a laugh.

Present

"Ever since then Simone would come regularly and drink there."

"Oh i see." Deon stated.

Suddenly the bed started creaking and we both immediately looked at Simone.

She had tears running down her eyes and she looked stunned.

My heart hurt watching her cry, it was terrible. I wish she didn't live this life.
