Chapter 3

Simone

We arrived home in the apartment that we first had a special moment in. My house. When I closed the door we both took off our mask and I stood at the door, waiting for his yelling.

"Why, why can't we find a decent fucking house with valuables!" He yelled. "We are far too deep to just fucking give up."

"Deon, we'll find a house I know we-"

"How do you know Simone? How do you know that we will find a house. We need so much more money do you fucking know that?"

"Of course I kn-"

"No you don't!" He interpreted. "Otherwise you wouldn't have said that shit. Accept reality Simone! We're fucked!"

"How do you know that we won't come across something. We need to have faith."

"Faith my ass," He mumbled. "Listen we need to go house searching okay? The neighbor downstairs is rich maybe we could-"

"No, it's too risky." I interrupted . "There's cameras in the building and if we are seen going into her house we're going to be caught."

"Then let's wait till-"

"No it's too risky!"I said again but this time yelling. "You probably don't think it is but I do and we sure as hell will not quicken our fate by robbing someone we know especially someone we live above. Someone who could probably-"

"Shut up!" He yelled.

I quickly shut my mouth, afraid that if I didn't there would be a serious consequence.

"We won't know until we try Simone. Look I'll have Egor disable the cameras in the building then we wait until Cadince leaves, after she leaves we'll take whatever we could. Afterwards we will go pawn it we should get about 150 dollars."

"I guess that could work." I said. I gave in into the evil act of crime. "Deon when will it be over?"

"Hopefully soon Simone. I want to think that we'll get through this before it's too late. Come here." He held his arms open as a sign that I should go over there.

I went over to him and sat on his lap as he hugged my body and snuggled up against me. I hugged him back letting this embrace sink into my memory.

He turned me over causing him to hover above me. He kissed my forehead then made his way down to my lips. When we parted I felt lonely but I just wasn't in the mood.

"Deon, I don't feel like it." He sighed but accepted my statement.

"I don't feel like it either," He replied. " I just thought it would have made you feel a little better." He added.

"I'm okay for tonight. The thought counts though." I smiled.

He smiled back. "Let's just sleep then."

After changing out of our clothes, we lied in our bed and stared at each other. I felt myself getting sleepy by the second. "Goodnight."He said and kissed my forehead afterwards. I didn't get to reply before I felt the darkness take over me.

Deon

Simone fell asleep almost immediately after closing her eyes. I looked at her once more and she is still as beautiful as the night when
I met her. I feel so bad for getting her into this mess.

I should have been facing this alone and here I am, taking my frustration out on her. I hate yelling at her but somethings i just can't controll it. The way her eyes get when I scream at her, her voice gets less powerful it's as if she's..she's scared of me.

I hope she isn't.

I slipped out of bed and grabbed my phone. I called Egor and after a feel rings later he picked up.

"You better not be calling again because you need help with making Simone happy!" Egor scolded.

"No i'm not." I protested. "We need you to come down tomorrow and disable the cameras in this building. We're going to rob the woman under us."

"Hell no. This is getting more risker by the day." He claimed. "You guys need to get your shit together. Mostly you. Simone wasn't even supposed to be involved in your mess." He scolded once again.

"Egor, please." I said. "We really need your help."

"Fine." He sighed. "But only because Simone deserves so much better than what she's going through right now."

"Thanks man." After that I hung up the phone and went to lay back into the bed.

I put my arm around Simone's body and pulled her closer to me. I looked at her face one more time before I finally fell asleep with the one I love in my arms.
