MAGNUS'S POV

I woke up the day after I made pancakes and the bed was cold next to me. I smelled something delicious coming from the kitchen. I got up and walked out of the bedroom. I found Alec making biscuits and gravy.

He whipped around. "Aw, dang. I was trying to be quiet. Sorry I woke you up, Magnus."

I laughed. "I'll just go lay on the couch and pretend to be asleep for you."

He pulled me to him. "Well, now that you're awake..." He kissed me.

I had a serious case of the feels. The only that worried me was he hadn't seen my warlock mark. He knew that every warlock had one, but mine, mine brought up a scary past. All I could think about was how broken we each were. Each of us a lovely vase that someone has smashed. Only luck and skill can put us back together the way we were before. I think Alec is the person to do that for me.

He walked over with breakfast. I turned on the tv and we watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerers' Stone. It was interesting. We finished eating and he started to take the dishes to the kitchen. That was not going to happen.

"Accio Alexander," I shouted at him and made him come back to me with my magic. I sent the dishes to wash and put themselves away. I kissed him.

"That's not fair! You used your magic and forced me to come back!" He was laughing and trying to be angry at the same time. It was really cute. "Why don't you try it?"

He laughed. "All right, accio Magnus' lips."

I fell into him and started to kiss him. I heard the familiar hiss of my warlock mark coming out. My cat eyes.

I immediately stopped and turned away from Alexander

I immediately stopped and turned away from Alexander. I closed my eyes so he couldn't see them.

"Magnus, what is it? What did I do wrong?" He looked so worried and hurt. It pained me to see him like that.

I cleared my throat. "Um, nothing. I just... sometimes... lose control."

I turned to look at him and waited for him to react in horror at the sight of my eyes. He didn't. He gently grabbed hold of my face and looked at my eyes in awe. Not horror.

"Magnus, they're beautiful. You're beautiful." He pulled me back to him. That was our first time.

I woke up in the morning. The third morning I had woken up with Alec right beside me. But this time was special. Never before had I felt this away about anybody. He had to know that. If he didn't, well I was going to have to make sure he did.

I felt him roll over and heard him groan. He looked up at me. "Good morning."

I smiled. "How did you sleep Alexander?"

He chuckled. Low and deep. "I didn't do very much sleeping..." He looked at me mischievously.

I laughed and snapped my fingers. Breakfast appeared before us on the bed.

"So this whole time I could have been asking for any food and you and I have been cooking instead?" He looked so puzzled and amused.

I rolled my eyes and shoved a piece of bacon into his mouth. He chuckled. I loved his laugh so much. It was beautiful and just absolutely amazing.

"So, what are our plans for today Alexander? Are we going on our first date?" He stopped moving for a moment.

"We are going to a coffee shop and then after that, I don't know. All I know is after getting virtually no sleep I need caffeine."

"Well why didn't you get any sleep exactly Alexander?" This time it was my turn to chuckle as he turned bright red.

We got ready and Alec realized that he hadn't brought any of his clothes with him. I would have thought that he would have known that when he woke up with his pajamas and the only other clothes were the ones he arrived in. I let him borrow my black jeans, black t-shirt, and a leather jacket. Stupid Shadowhunter rules. That one was actually unspoken. 'Always wear black'. I personally think that a little glitter goes a long way.

We walked to the coffee shop and ordered some macchiatos.  We drank in silence until this girl walked up to Alec and was flirting with him a little. I don't even think that he realized that she was. He was so innocent. I sat there quietly just listening.

"Hi, I'm Emma. What's your name?" She giggled.

"Alec. Did you need something?" He looked kind of confused. As if he didn't know that he was literally the hottest thing in the room. Then again, he probably didn't.

"Um, no. I just wanted to tell you how cute I think you are." She smiled expectantly.

He smiled. "Um, thanks. I think?"

She laughed. "You're so funny. I really love your jacket and the whole all black vibe is amazing. As long as your friend doesn't mind, do you want to go back to my place, and we can fool around some?" She bit her lip.

By this time he had entwined his hand in mine. He had caught on that she was flirting with him. Thank the Angel.

He looked at me for reassurance and I nodded my head up and down ever so slightly.

He blushed really hard and picked up my hand to show her. "Thanks. My jacket is my boyfriend's. He's really amazing."

She pouted and walked away. I smiled at him and gave him a quick kiss and we left. We were almost home when his phone went off. He frowned.

"What is it Alexander?" I grabbed both of his hands and looked at him with great concern.

"Oh, nothing. My parents are leaving tomorrow afternoon. I guess I'll be leaving then." He looked disappointed. I guess we both thought they would be here for a couple of weeks. Guess not. My time was now going to be cut short with him. I sincerely regretted it.

Since he chose Harry Potter, I got to choose the next movie that we watched. Obviously I chose The Fault in Our Stars because it is an amazing book and an even better movie. I cried so many times and had to snuggle up in Alexander's arms because, well just because I felt like it. There really is no valid reason for it. Oh well.

"Mmm, hey Magnus, wanna get dinner?" I woke with a start. I had fallen asleep listening to his cute little snores.

"Yeah we probably should. Invite your friends. They probably miss you." I was probably going to regret this but it was partially my fault that his parents didn't want to see him.

"Um, are you sure?" He was very confused. "Did I do something wrong?" Definitely confused.

"No, not at all, but you probably miss them."

He looked concerned. "No, I'll see them tomorrow."

We ate dinner and didn't do much sleeping at all. I woke up snuggled up with my head on a pillow of rock solid muscles and runes. It was perfect.
