Is It Over?

When Ali came into the living room, he looked upset about something. He looked like he was in a mental debate about something, and we all saw it on his face. No one said anything to him because we didn't know if he would yell at us or not.

Ali flopped down on my lap and buried his face in my neck. He wrapped his arms around me, and we all could tell that he didn't want to be bothered. I wrapped my arms around him, so that he felt somewhat safe in whatever mental battle he is having with himself.

"Are you okay Babe?" I asked him after a while.

"I don't know" Ali whispered to me. "My head hurts."

"I'm sorry Babe" I said. "Do you want to take anything for it?"

"I don't know" Ali whispered as Shadow came back into the room with some pain killers. "I just want to go to sleep and never wake up."

"Hey, don't you ever say that Ali" I said hurt and sad. "We all love you and care for you so deeply, losing you is not an option for us. We lose you, we might as well not even be the family that we are." I rubbed his back as I tried comforting him, "I love you so much Alisender that I don't know what I'd do without you."

Ali started crying then, "Ice was just here, Jet." Ali sat back in my lap to look at me, "he told me, he loves me and that he'd fight for me. I don't love him, I can't stand him. Either way I decide to do something, I'm losing. I go with him, I'm losing and hurting you. I stay here, he comes and fights for me, you're getting hurt and I'm probably losing all of you and I don't want that. You all mean the world to me. The best option I have is to leave everyone behind and hope to never be found by Ice again."

I looked at him hurt, "so you're willing to leave your family behind and start a new life somewhere else, like we never even existed? Like we aren't and never have been apart of your life?"

"I don't want to leave you guys, I don't" Ali cried, "but what other choice do I have?"

"We can all leave together and hope that Ice never finds any of us ever again" I said seriously.

"With all us together, he is bound to find us again" Ali said seriously and wiped his face from tears. 

"We could always change our names" Gash said, "then there would be no way for him to find us. We could start a new life with new names and possibly a new look. Hell we could even change our last names to the same name and he would never suspect that it is us cause who else would change their last name to the same as their friends. That way we can actually be a family."

Shadow tapped Ali's shoulder, and Ali looked at him in time to take the pain killers that he was offering to Ali. Ali took the pills without a fight because he knew Shadow would get onto him about being stubborn and having to deal with his headache. Shadow moved Ali's hair from his face without a word, but he did have a smile on his face after seeing that Ali didn't fight him to take to the medicine.

"I guess" Ali said after taking the medicine, "but who's to say, he won't put two-and-two together? I mean a whole family just appear out of nowhere in a city or town? It would honestly take a blind person to not see that it's just a bunch of friends who are running from something or someone to suddenly come to town with new names and that could or could not be a family."

"Babe, quit overthinking everything and let's just do it" I said seriously. "Let's just go and never look back, no overthinking or second guessing, let's... just.. go."

Ali seemed to be thinking about what I said then before he looked at me, "I can't leave my mom behind. She's the only one in my family that I still care about." He proceeded to wipe away more tears from his face, "leaving my mom doesn't sit well with me."

I grabbed his face and kissed him before looking at him, "I may not have my family anymore, but I know I couldn't bare to see you worried about your mom all the time or bare to see you upset about leaving her behind in this hell hole of a town."

Ali smiled at me then and weakly said, "this is why I love you."

I smiled at him then before kissing him again. When he kissed me back, I left like there was a weight lifted off my shoulders.
