For the very last time, Mingyu leaned in closer closing the gap between his and Wonwoo's lips sharing a long, passionate kiss. Wonwoo couldn't help but let the threatening tears escape from his eyes. If they are able stop time, they could stop it right now and stay like this forever.

They promised to stay together until they die, they promised that they will marry and they will build a small family. But little did they know that,

Promises were meant to be broken.

Wonwoo dettached his lips from his, suddenly looking confused.

He was looking everywhere as if he lost something very important. Well, he did but--

"Hey Wonwoo, what's wrong?" Mingyu waved his hand in front of the man's eyes expecting to receive a reaction from him, but instead he kept looking around as if it's like,

he was invisible.

"Mingyu? Where are you?" He nervously asked, looking around.

"What are you saying?! I'm right here!" Mingyu shouted, only to get ignored.

"How unexpected, he just disappeared." Wonwoo thought. Tears began pouring from Wonwoo's eyes by the thought of Mingyu leaving him alone.

He wiped his tears, and began running to look for his other half, not noticing that he passed through him like a wind numerous times.

Not being able to see him, he helplessly called out for his name, unaware that he can't appear in front of him anymore.

Mingyu's just there, standing in front of the sea, the waves hitting the soles of his shoes, while Wonwoo's were getting dirtied by the sand. He turned his head to stare blankly at the sea, flinching when a hand came in contact with his shoulder.

Mingyu looked back to see the grim reaper standing there, ready to fetch him.

"You're Kim Mingyu right?" The Grim Reaper asked.

Mingyu nodded in response and looked at him sadly.

"Don't worry, you will meet him again soon.

People were born to die anyway."
