"It's raining." He stated, helping his lover wear the raincoat. Although the coat smelled quite grassy, he had no choice but to wear it as the humid breeze kept nipping on his skin. Once he reached for the door's knob, he handed Mingyu an umbrella hoping him a safe trip to the grocery. "Here, an umbrella. Be cautious of the slippery road, none would like a partner to come back looking all worn out, severely if I might add," Wonwoo said then waved him off.
"Be back before the clock strikes eight, I wouldn't want to eat supper at that time of the day, hurry." He ordered.
Nodding in response, Mingyu walked carefully down the road, to their shared car. His rubber boots were squeaking against the puddles, and splashes were to be heard in every step he takes. It was raining pretty hard, and his umbrella deserved to be pitied for it was getting hit by the harsh fall of the translucent liquid droplets coming from the clouds.
It will be a risky trip to the grocery, considering the damp and slippery roads caused by the rain. Well you must be wondering, why does the couple have to be very careful each time they set foot on the damp ground? It was because the two lovers had to live in the high mountains for fresh air due to Wonwoo's weak lungs, hence the fear of driving under the rain.
"Oh-- and by the way, I don't have plans in bringing my phone anymore, it's not that far anyway." He added, looking back at Wonwoo's figure standing by the front door.
"Let's go to the beach tomorrow."
Mingyu drove carefully down the road. The rubber wheels were squeaking against the puddles, and splashes were to be heard. It was raining pretty hard, and his car's roof deserved to be pitied for it was getting hit by the harsh fall of the translucent liquid droplets coming from the clouds.
Actually, staying in the mountains was all good, after all who wouldn't want to witness a picturesque view of the world's scenery in person and inhale the fresh blow of the wind silencing pollution, however, they had to face some problems particularly on how to depart from their home and arrive safely to where they purchase their daily supply of food, the grocery. It wasn't that far, nor was it near. It was just because of the dangerous path that they will pass through which was the cliff. Everytime they had to go somewhere they always had to pass through that steep surface of the mountain.
Now it's raining ( really hard ), there's approximately a good percentage of eighty for the man to slip and fall to his death on his way to the grocery store.
"I won't slip." He muttered to himself, biting his bottom lip in fear of falling. It was dark and the roads were slippery, just how in the world can Mingyu drive safely to the grocery store? Poor Kim Mingyu.
For a moment, everything came to a pause when he unknowingly turned his head to the side being met with a mesmerising city of stars, or maybe, just buildings-- city street lights. Imagine glitters scattered all throughout the ground, shimmering against the lights produced by the moon. Oh, how wonderful would that just be! It would, of course, please one's eye.
The gorgeous city lights distracted him too much that he was unaware of the strong wind approaching as the rain dramatically poured harder pushing the unguarded driver to fall down the steep cliff. The car wobbled from side to side, snapping the man back to reality. Seconds later, he found himself falling down with the direction of gravity.
Unfortunately, Kim Mingyu did fall off the cliff.
