part 09. Gym

I had changed into my gym clothes, simple dark blue shorts and a white shirt.

The class had waited for the teacher and we he walked in, I questioned if eyebrows could ever grow that bushy. But he was proof they could.

"I'm Gai-sensei. Everybody give me 20 push-ups and 15 laps around the gym. Show me.. the power of youth!!" He balled his fist in the air, eyes shining with tears.

Push-ups weren't that hard, the most I'd do most mornings was about 70. I went to get a drink before we started running to jog laps.

"Seems like you're pretty athletic for a new student." A voice sounded from next to me, white hair with dark purple eyes staring down at me.

"Seems like it." I shrugged, finishing my 6th lap already.

"What's your name?" He asked me.

"Naoyuki Ito. Or just Nao. What's yours?" I asked him, both of us at the same pace and having finished my 8th lap.

"Damn, what's that stench? Smells.. fishy in here, oh. Sushi boy is here, no wonder~" The other voice was laced in heavy sarcasm as we both turned to look at the new man.

"Leave my new bitch alone, Suigetsu. Go make your own friends." Hidan scowled as he caught up to us, before looking at me. "Do you like seafood?"

"Fried fish, sometimes. Alive fish creep me out, they're all squirmy and reek." I shivered at the thought of a fish flapping and struggling on land, it's unsettling.

"Damn, I already like, bitch. If you don't like fish, you won't like him." Suigetsu hissed at this and shot us both a deadly glare. "Rumor has it, his mom fucked a fi-" before he could finish, Suigetsu threw himself into Hidan. "Why you-!!"

"Gai-sensei! They're back at it again!" A student yelled from somewhere, the teacher sighing as if this was a normal occurrence. He did eventually step in to pull the two apart, Suigetsu fuming and Hidan only seemed to throw a chain or swear words and cursing at him.

"I'll rip your fucking throat open, fish sticks!"

"Yeah, I'd like to see you try! Sasuke ain't gonna let you get away with it!"

"Shut your trap, pansy. You're just mad because your mom opened her legs to a fuckin' fish~ Was she one of them too?" He snorted and got up, dusting himself clean.

"Enough, both of you to the office, again. Right now." The teacher yelled out, stepping in between the two. "This isn't how youth should behave!"

"Yeah, fuck you all. I ain't going to no office. You're all big talk until me and the rest of the boys show up, pissed." He smirked at the teacher, who seemed to still for a moment, including Suigetsu.

What? Did he just threaten the teacher..? Why did Sensei seem scared though?

"Princess, let's go. I'll walk you to your next fuckin' class." He headed to grab his bags, but the bell hadn't rung yet.

"Wait, the bell hasn't.." As if on cue, the bell started ringing. ".. rung yet.." I followed behind Hidan, scurrying to take my bag and showed him my next class.

"Are you and him gonna actually fight..?" I spoke after the long, awkward silence between us.

"What, you're worried about me?" He smirked down at me.

"No! I was just curious, sheesh.." I huffed and looked to the other side.

"I mean, the boys gave him a fair warning not to fuck with me again or it wouldn't end well. I think he deserves it, shit doesn't seem to get through his watered up brain." Hidan grunted, eyes focused on the hallways ahead of us.

"Yo, sup." He called out to another student with half black/white hair and gave him a walking high-five, as the student passed us.

"I mean, you did taunt him. So it's your fault, too." I replied, re-scanning the school map and my classes.

"Don't take his fucking side. He threatened me once with his huge butcher knife! He carries one with him everywhere." Hidan spoke in a weird way, as if trying to convince a child of something mythical. I wasn't dumb enough to fall for it and pinched his side gently.

"Hey now, I won't fall for that. Besides, that's illeg-"

"Who's the new girl, Hidan? Finally getting laid, are we?" The really tall guy interrupted us, having weird slits on his cheeks with deep, hollowed eyes. And I thought Zabuza was the tallest.

And he was definitely 10x more intimidating.
