HINO'S POV
*****"WHAAAAA~?! Are you serious Kanazawa?!" Hihara, the light-haired trumpeteer, jumps up from his chair and everyone is startled. "An all-expense paid trip to Gendou Island for a week?!"
"Yes Hihara, you heard me right. Geez, stop acting like a kid and start setting an example as a senpai." The lavender haired guy, Kanazawa Kanayan, sighed as he scratched his hair.
"Sugoi!!!" Hihara smiles and I feel happier now. He looks at me and smiles wider. "Kaho-chan, don't you think that this is great news?"
"Hai!" I agree and Hihara begins to ask Kanazawa-senpai more about the trip rather enthusiastically.
"You're always so energetic Hihara." Asuma Yunoki smiled as he leaned on the wall. "Although I've been to Gendou Island quite a few times already, I too am looking forward to this trip. After the concours, I haven't been that much in touch with you guys. Especially, with Hino."
Whaaa~?!
"Ugh...I-I'm sure Yunoki-senpai misses all of us. Hehe..." I chuckle nervously as I see his 'fake' smile. Tch...So him.
"I would also like to hear Kaho-senpai play." I look back and see Keiichi Shimuzu smile at me and I feel my heart skip a beat. Always, those calm blue eyes are so angelic. And that hair of his... But...
"Eeeh? But Shimizu-kun, my playing isn't that good and-" I wave my hand as I feel that the attention goes to me.
"Me too." I look to my left and see Fuyuumi smile at me. Seeing her speak up, I feel happy. A few months ago, she'd just cower along the sidelines. But eversince the concours has ended, Fuyuumi has become a more blooming woman. "I would also like to hear Kaho-senpai's violin."
"Eeeh?! Matte..."
Then, a hand places itself on my head. I look up and see the familiar smile of a tall green-haired pianist.
"Well, we'll all be looking forward to it." Ryoutaro Tsuchiura adds and although it's a bit embarassing, I always feel safe when Tsuchiura-kun is around. I nod. Being in another training camp with all of them brings back so many memories.
"Hai. I'm sure it'll be -" I begin but then -
"Boring." The atmosphere turns rather a degree lower as everyone looks at the blue-haired violinist standing by the door. His yellowish-brown eyes, his composure, his calmness - yes. Even if he gives a different feeling to Tsuchiura-kun, he also has this profound effect on me. Len Tsukimori. "If a simple summer trip is what this is all about, then this has been a waste of time. If you all have such spare time, I for one am going to -" He starts as he walks out the room.
"Practice? Tch. The Almighty Music Department Prince is too busy to have a little time for fun." Ryoutaro scoffs and soon I feel that electric sparks are being exchanged.
"Ano...Hey guys! Calm down. I'm sure Tsukimori-kun is very busy with his practice so if he won't go, then-" I begin to try talk with Tsuchiura-kun but then, Tsukimori says the unthinkable.
"Who says I won't go?"
Eh?
Everyone is shocked as we look at Tsukimori who has stopped in his tracks. His sudden change of mind... whaaa? Then, he leaves.
"Well that was weird." Kanazawa breaks the silence.
"Oh... So if Tsukimori goes...The more the merrier, right Yunoki?" Hihara smiles and Yunoki agrees. Soon the weird atosphere dissapates and preparations for next week's trip is discussed.
"I knew it." I hear Tsuchiura-kun mutter and I look at him.
"What was that, Tsuchiura-kun?" I ask and he shakes his head.
"Nothing. I'm just looking forward to this trip, that's all. Afterall, Gendou Island is famous for a lot of musical myths." "Musical...myths?" I ask and suddenly -
"Yep! Musical love myths!"
"GAAAAAH!" I scream as Nami, the school's most active journalist, pops beside me out of nowhere. "Would you stop that Nami?" I calm down and she gives a smirk.
"What a naughty boy you are Tsuchiura-kun." She wags a finger at Tsuchiura who is taken aback.
"Eh? What d'you-" He counters in defense but Shimizu cuts in.
"But they say that those musical myths aren't really true. Afterall, they're just myths." He pokes in a dreamy voice and I'm beginning to become confused.
"Ano...what are these myths exactly?" I ask but Nami just pats my head.
"You don't have to know them Kahoko but a piece of advice," Nami drags me near the window.
"Nami-san...!" I start as she leans towards me. Outside the window, I see the familiar blue-hair and violin case walking by the garden.
"Don't ever play your violin."
