TSUCHIURA'S POV

***

The elevator door closes behind her and I stop waving. Something about her smile always enchants me.

Hino.

Then, I look to my right and see the most self-conceited monster ever to have existed. Tch...Out of all the people, it just had to be him.

"Where were you last night?" I try to sound as uninterested as I could. As expected, the robot just grunts and stands up. He walks pass me but I am not about to let him off the hook just yet. "Were you with Hino?"

Annoyingly, he stops. Then he continues to walk.

"So you were with her." I conclude.

"And?"

I finally receive a response. I casually lean back.

"What were you doing with her?" My voice is sharp as always. Maybe because he affirmed my dreaded thoughts. The robot sighs.

"I don't recall having an agreement to tell you everything that happens about me." He coldly scoffs and I am taken aback by his prideful remark.

"Why does everything you say make it seem like the earth revolves around you?" I retort back and the robot fixes his collar.

"Does it now?" He says amusingly and I am ticked off. This guy...how big is head?

"Whatever," I wave him off. No point talking with him seeing that he won't answer anyway. I walk past him towards the elevator when suddenly -

"Somebody stole Hino's violin yesterday."

"Huh?!" I look back and judging from his face - well that's his only facial expression- he wasn't kidding. "How..."

"I don't really know how because this is a very high-security ship but last night, we found the suspect. He escaped and left the violin." Tsukimori finishes and I am left to contemplate on what I had just heard.

"But..Hino...Did she -" I ask. I always knew that Hino really loved her violin so much. The robot leans his head to the side and maintains his straightface. Seriously - does this guy lack facial muscles or what?

"She was overwhelmed with joy when she got her violin. She didn't even want to pursue the criminal." He stated plainly and I chuckle. That was definitely Hino...Always so kind. I look to my feet and then sigh.

"But did you tell security about this?" I ask and he looks towards the reception where a guard is busy chatting with the receptionist.

"I did. And eversince last night, we've been trying to find out who the crook was. Somehow, he has evaded all the security cameras which means that he is an expert to the ship's designs. The ship's crew is taking this as seriously as they can. They can't have  crook wandering around their ship." I look at the robot unbelievingly. So if he was with the investigation...then that meant that this guy didn't sleep all night? I chuckle.

"No wonder you were early." I mumble but he doesn't catch this. Instead he sighs and walks past me.

"You best be watching." He says and I nod. Although I never really liked him, i acknowledge his talent and his intellect. Except for his ego which is the size of the entire universe multiplied to the last possible number - other than that...he was someone who was indeed a genius.

But then again...

"She doesn't look beautiful when she's frowning right?" I say outloud. The robot pauses, then proceeds to walk towards the elevator.

It didn't matter what he was thinking, all I knew was that Hino was something that was precious.

To me.

I look as the elevator door closes with that blue robot in it and I sigh.

You might be a violin virtuouso Tsukimori but the things of the heart are more complicated than all the notes in the world.
