KAHOKO'S POV

***

"What do you think you're doing, Hino?"

Yikes. I take a huge breath and turn back.

"Ano...Hello...Tsukimori-kun. I was just...planning to go and...practice...Hehehe.." I chuckle nervously but Tsukimori-kun sighs as he unleans on the wall. I take a tighter grip on my violin case and sigh. Just a minute ago this sounded so full proof. I let my hands down and start walking back to my room. "Gomen..." I reach my door when I hear Tsukimori-kun sigh yet again.

Am I really this disappointing?

"Follow me."

Eh? I stop myself and look at Tsukimori-kun who is already walking down the aisle. I take a deep breath and hug my violin case close. What's going on here? Wasn't I caught on sneaking out? Am I not s'pose to get back into my room?

"If you're planning to wake up your sleepig neighbors with the constant screeching noises you make, I suggest you stay here Hino." Tsukimori-kun speaks up and I unfreeze myself.

Oh yeah....Practice. I catch up to him and smile.

"Gomen nasai Tsukimori-kun." I apologize but he doesn't react anyway. We slowly make our way towards the elevator. That's when I realize that he's also holding his violin case.

"Were you going to practice as well Tsukimori-kun?" I happily inquire but he just looks at me. Oh right...What else was he going to do with his violin?

"Obviously." He snaps and I sigh. Gee, I really messed up big time today. As we enter the elevator I take a deep breath.

Actually, I wasn't expecting to be caught. I mean, I couldn't stay in that room any longer. I tried to play the violin but soon I realized that the walls weren't really soundproof and the wrong notes I played was getting on the nerves of my neighbors.

I sigh again. Tsukimori-kun was right. I'm only making noise.

TSUKIMORI'S POV

She sighs beside me and I look at her frown. Sigh...Why does it always have to be her?

The door opens after a bell and we step onto the lobby. She looks around with that confused look on her face. I continue to walk ahead of her and head towards the exit.

"Eh? Aren't the practice rooms on level 6? Why are we on 8 then? Tsukimori-kun...I think we got off on the wrong landing." She catches up beside me but I keep a straight face.

"The practice rooms were full." I reply and she just nods. We walk in silence as we reach the outer deck where we see the full moon high above us.

"Sugoi!!!!" She rushes to the railings and enjoys the view. I on the other hand, place my case on the table. "Tsukimori-kun! It's so beautiful!" She waves but I just stare at what she's pointing to. Far ahead, we see an island decorated with lights both in blue and red.

Beautiful, eh? I close my eyes and listen to the waves crashing by the ship's hull. I open my eyes and remember that this was also the same scenery I had witnessed many years ago, but on a different ship of course. That time, my mother and father decided to spend some family time on Gendou Island. And that day....
