You open your eyes as you felt that someone jumped on your bed. She’s not heavy to move the whole mattress but you were disturbed.

“Umma! Umma! Wake up! Remember today is your scheduled date. You don’t want to be too ‘VIP’ in meeting him, do you?” she said. As she jump off of bed and put her little hand on her waist.

You just laugh at her. She’s like your mom. She is just six years of age yet she thinks like she’s sixteen.

“I never forget him, mom” you say jokingly. She sulks. Someone flashes in your mind and remember the person that looks like her when she’s sulking.

You can’t help but to feel sad. “Go and get yourself ready. This time I will carry you with Me.” you don’t want her to see your sad expression so you instructed her. She stormed outside your room. You can actually hear her marching leaving your room.

You drag yourself out of bed. Take a short shower. Dress yourself a simple cocktail dress yet an eye catching one. You put a light make up. The person you are meeting today isn’t so demanding that he wants you to dress elegantly. He prefers you simple yet attractive like the first time he seen you.

You descended from stairs. You are ready to go but that little girl is still on her room. You could say that she is getting a hard time to choose among her dresses on which to wear. She’s too picky.

“Young lady up there, can you dress even faster this time? We don’t want him to wait us too long.” you shout to her room.

Minutes later, you hear an audible sound of stomping feet coming from stairs. She quickly runs towards you.

“umma, was this dress ok? Does he want me to wear a close one or this revealing my back, ok?” she asked. You shook your head out of patience. This kid thinks really more mature than you thought.

“He’s conservative” you plainly say. Again, she runs upstairs to change her outfit. You will wait for her again to decide.

“Umma!” she calls you. You didn’t notice that she already in front of you until she called you. You were preoccupied.

“Nae? Are we ready for takeoff?” you ask her.

“Is this ok now? I’m bothered on what will he says about my hair. Does he want my hair on a pigtail or he’d rather see my hair untied?” you don’t know which to start answering all her questions. She’s too talkative.

“He won’t mind it. You decide” you say. She finally agreed and pulled you to your car.

You drive off to a flower shop to buy him a flower. Maybe he would like white roses, so you buy a bouquet of it. You pass a restaurant that cooks beef specialties. You also buy an order for him. This smells delicious so why not.

As you reach the place, you parked your car, stopped the engine and pull the key. You slide off the car and went to your meeting place.

The ambience is tranquil and peaceful. There are some people who are visiting their relatives, and staying for a while.

You notice the bouquet of flowers and some stuff on his tomb, you’re in a cemetery.  His friends and relatives must have visited him and dropped this off.

You put your flowers beside the other things, and sit down.

“umma, is he alright there?” little girl asks you.

“Jagi, I’m sorry If I went here just this now, our daughter was sick and I have to be always by her side” you ignored her question. Your eyes start to fill with tears. The little girl is just stares at you.

“She’s lea, our daughter. You didn’t know that I was pregnant. I’m sorry for not telling you” you shed a tear.

Your husband died in a plane crash accident. He was from an important appointment when the accident happened. He’s so kind and caring. He doesn’t even know that you and he are having baby. It was your 6th anniversary.

Despite his hectic schedule, he never failed to send you his concerns and love whenever his far from you.

You promise in front of God that you will love each other, understand each other’s mistake and never cheat. But he left you. That’s unacceptable. You haven’t had a chance to say that you were pregnant.

But he left you with a remembrance, which reminds you so much of him and it’s your daughter, Lea.

You are now crying hard, you can’t control your feelings and you burst out crying. You can’t hold your tears back anymore. It pours like a heavy rain down your cheeks.

“Su…Suho, I missed you so much. I can’t imagine how to live without you by my side but when lea came, I regain all what I’ve lost and it’s you”

“Umma…” Lea tries to speak but she chooses to be quiet instead. She caresses your back, comforting you.

“I really missed you badly” you cry.

Out of nowhere you hear a voice.

“Yeobo… please don’t cry” you lean up to see who speaks but you see no one. You familiarize the voice.

“Suho?” your tears started to fall even harder.

“Nae, it’s me. I am happy to know that we have our first baby and she’s big now. She looks like you” you smile at what he said.

“Don’t feel said just because I left you. I might dead physically but my soul and heart are still alive and beating only for you. Only my earthly body died but my feelings for you never fades. Don’t shed tears. I can’t see you like that…”

“Maybe I’m not the guy who would spend forever with you. Open your heart again for someone. I’m giving you permission. I want you to be happy”

“Remember, I love you and I would never forget you. I will always look for your safety from above here. Take care of yourself and Lea”

But before you could speak, the voice was gone.

“I will. Naneun dangshineul saranghae, Jagi.”
