'Not! Ina! Luna!' Willow yells, running up to us. 'I'm your sister now!' Her eyes are full of excitement.
'Yay!' Ina and Luna shout in unison.
'Not!' Annie calls from the kitchen.
'Yes!' I call back.
'Come!' She replies.
'Ok!' I say.
When I get there, Annie is holding a piece of paper.
'I have you some news.'
There are tears in her eyes. Oh no! Am I going back to Mrs Oliver? Or Lamp Head Oh. Oops I mean Camp meadow.
'Not. Your parents were Nick Bird and Isabelle Bird.'She says.
Oh! I'm not Isabelle. Isabelle was my mother! But she's dead.
'My mother is dead!' I scream.
I then see her startled expression and realise what I've done.
'Oh no! I'm so sorry!' I say.
'Not. You don't have to be sorry! I understand it's hard to talk or think about your parents. It's okay. I won't mention them again.' Annie says.
'It's fine you can mention them.' I say 'I promise I won't blow up like that again.'
'So my parents are Isabelle and Nick Bird?'I say.
'That's right.' Annie says. 'Oh!' She suddenly jumps.
I spin on my heel to see Ina, Luna and Willow listening to every word we say.
'You guys are sneaky!' I say, ruffling their long, silky hair.
They all giggle.
Annie joins in and so does Pete, who has been sat down silently.
