Vers midi, je suis allée à la cafétéria. Maintenant qu'Emma n'est plus là, c'est comme-ci je n'arrivais plus à m'orienter. Je me suis installée à la table de Zelena et j'ai écouté ce qu'elle disait.

- Je ne voulais pas que Swan aille en prison mais je ne pouvais pas mentir.

Je sentis mon cœur s'arrêter en entendant Zelena.

- Qu'est-ce que tu as dit ?

- J'ai parlé d'elle et moi. C'est tout.

Je me suis levée et sortis de la cafétéria. Je vis la principale Fisher. Elle marchait vers moi.

- Regina... Est-ce que tu es sûre de ce que tu as dit hier ?

- J'en suis certaine.

Je me suis remise à courir vers la sortie. Je suis entrée dans ma voiture et j'ai démarré en trombe. Je me suis garée devant la maison d'Emma. J'ai sonné plusieurs fois à la porte avant qu'elle sorte. Je l'ai prise dans mes bras.

- Elle leur a dit... me dit-elle.

- Je sais, murmurais-je.

- Je pourrais aller en prison...

Ma voix était entrain de flancher.

- Regina... Personne n'est là. Je te veux, me dit-elle doucement.

Je sors de notre étreinte et l'ai regardé. Ses yeux étaient plaidant. Elle m'embrasse avec passion tandis que je ferme la porte. Elle me porte jusqu'à sa chambre.

- Je t'aime. Je t'aimerai toujours. Peut importe comment cette histoire se finira. Si tu pars, je t'attendais. D'accord ?

Elle hoche la tête et m'embrasse à nouveau.

- Je t'aime aussi, dit-elle en m'embrassant passionnément.

Ça pourrait être la dernière fois... Et c'est terrifiant.
