Did that really happen? Last night did she actually confess to him and did he accept it?
Okara was awake now as the sun was rising in the sky, her eyes were looking at all kinds of things for they were restless. He kissed my cheek and then my lips, was this truly real?
This she couldn't believe, but as her hands went over her chest where her heart was, was it still beating fast from what had happened last night.
"I really missed you..."
Those words from him made her eyes water a bit as she blushed a bit more, but she shook her head fast as her tail was puffed up to show her embarrassment. It didn't happen! It was all a dream!
Okara was convinced of that, yet her mind and heart said otherwise. Sighing she decided to not think about it, and to go about her day normally.
Her sisters weren't around, much like her parents. They hadn't been around a lot lately for they were busy on missions which left her alone and at home. It was rather lonely not that she thought so. Okara was now getting her armor and clothes on, with her eyes closed. Walking to the door, did she open it with her eyes closed and as she did was she face to chest with someone who she immediately recognized. "Eh!"
Her response clearly made Bardock smirk a bit, "Decided to come see you, are you feeling better?"
Okara looked at him in light surprise. "I guess so..?"
Bardock raised his eyebrow at her with a bit of a frown, "You guess?"
Okara blinked and shook her head trying to get herself under control, "Yeah I'm fine!"
Bardock was silent as he looked at her, he then took a step back as he looked away from her now. This gesture was rather new to Okara, that she tilted her head asking. "But are you okay?"
When he didn't say anything right away did she frown some but her eyes went wide as he handed her a small flower. "..!"
"I went on ahead and got you this...", spoke Bardock with his eyes still looking away from her. "I know you aren't much into flowers but I picked you one anyway?"
Okara's eyes were still wide before going a little wet which got Bardock's attention, he looked at her some what concerned. "What's wrong? Do you want something else!"
Okara shook her head as she softly took the flower from him, and she smiled at him while wiping her eyes. "If it is a flower from you, I'll take it..."
Her words caused a bit of a blush to come over his cheeks, as he tried to hide his smile with a bothered frown with his eyes closed. "Oh okay. I knew that!"
Okara laughed a bit at him as he turned away curtly, his eyes were still closed as he grumbled. "Let's go."
Okara followed after him with the flower still in her hand, "Okay."
As she followed him did she see that they were going in a completely different place from where the others were, which made her look at him confused. "Where are we going?"
"You'll see.", responded Bardock who continued to walk ahead.
Okara was even more confused as she continued to follow after him. She blinked as he stopped and took a seat on the grass with his eyes still closed. She looked surprised as he patted the spot next to him, though his eyes remained closed. "Sit with me."
Okara felt her heart beating fast in her chest, that she slowly took a seat down beside him but not at all close to where they were touching. Her eyes went wide though as his hand grabbed her around the waist pulling her flush against him which in turn made her gasp loudly as her face exploded into a red color. "..!"
Bardock looked at her in the face now, his face was rather firm and serious as he stared into her own eyes that were wide in surprise. "U-Uh...!"
"From the looks of it you are still hurting huh?"
When he said that did she blink, "What?"
Bardock looked away as he let her go, "I figured on showing you my spot where I think, but you are still hurting. I'm sorry..."
"N-No!", stammered Okara. "I'm okay really!" She smiled at him, "I've been okay since last night!"
Bardock look at her with faintly wide eyes before they eased immediately as a small smile formed on his lips. "Really?"
Okara nodded with a smile, "Yes!"
Her smiled changed really quickly as he took a hold of the back of her head and pulled her close so that their foreheads were touching. Okara was again a blushing mess, while Bardock had a cool expression with his eyes closed. "I'm glad, I thought that you were still upset and I wanted to do something for you. Which is why I picked you that flower and showed you this favorite spot of mine."
Okara blinked and she smiled, "Thank you."
Bardock opened his eyes as he looked at her, and the moment he saw her smile did his small smile become a bit bigger. Okara's heart was pounding really hard in her chest at this that she looked away shyly, but her eyes took notice of something which got his attention. "What is it?"
Okara reached over and pulled out a four leaf clover, with a smile. "Hey look!"
"What's the big deal its just a weed?", remarked Bardock not knowing what the clover meant.
"It is a four leaf clover! These are very rare and are suppose to be lucky!", grinned Okara.
Bardock looked lightly surprised, "Oh yeah?" That and her grinning face made him smile.
"Yeah! I guess I'm lucky to know you!", smiled Okara as she softly handed him the clover.
"...", Bardock blushed a tad as he took the clover from her and he soon placed it in his mouth and laid back with his arms behind his head.
Okara blinked and blushed as he laid there looking to be deep in thought. "Don't eat it.", she finally said this while her blush remained on her face.
"Hmph.", scoffed Bardock with his eyes closed though he opened one eye and looked at her saying. "I'm not going to eat anything that is suppose to bring me luck. Besides, you gave it to me."
Okara smiled at him and she leaned down to him which made him open both of his eyes as he looked at her very confused. His cheeks went red as he felt her lips touch his forehead softly and afterwards did she close her eyes smiling as she looked at a flustered Bardock.
"I'm glad this is real.", she said this which made Bardock blink and look serious.
"Did you think it wasn't?"
"Kind of..?", she admitted looking down at the flower now which was from him. "I actually thought that it was a dream..?
"..."
Okara heard him moving and she looked at him curiously but gasped as he leaned in and kissed her lips. "..!"
Bardock held her cheeks with his hands, his lips moved away from hers as he said in a serious tone. "This is real. Say that it isn't again around me and I'll never let you hear the end of it."
Okara looked at him surprised and at her surprised face did he smirk coyly before leaning in close and kissing her again. The clover that was given to him was in between his fingers that held her right cheek.
