Bardock Oneshot Story

Chapter 9, "New Addition!"

(;3; I have no idea what to call their kids so I'll just be using Raditz and Goku. I'm sorry I'm not all that creative!)

The married life was more or less hectic but it had its perfect moments, and sometimes the blood pressure would rise between Okara and Bardock about certain things and topics. But that was how it was normally, for life had its ups and downs. Even though it was difficult at times, Okara would never change it for the world and Bardock honestly felt the same way. 

Each time they fought, Bardock would go out and pick a flower to make amends. There was even moments where, Okara would drag Bardock to his favorite spot which was their spot now and try to find a four leaf clover again and would always get discouraged cause she didn't find one. 

"I don't need some weed.", sighed Bardock with his eyes closed.
"But you gave me a flower so I have to give you a clover!", retorted Okara with a frown.
"I don't need it, I'm lucky already with you around!", replied Bardock whose cheeks went faintly red as his eyes remained closed. 

Every time Bardock said something like that, it made Okara's heart squeeze tightly. "I love you!"
Bardock looked from side to side flustered, "Yeah, I heard you!"
Okara smiled at him, for she was extremely happy. "Hopefully one day our luck will grow!"
"What are you talking about? Aren't we lucky enough?", replied Bardock looking at her confused. 
"We are but I want to be even luckier! How about we add a member to the family!"
"Huh?" 

Bardock's expression was redder than normal as Okara hugged him around the neck. Unknowingly to the two, Okara was standing over a four leaf clover which was hidden within the grass. 
 
Who would of thought that her wish would be granted, and so soon?

Okara felt a little on the ill side one day and began to experience mood swings a lot lately and she even thought it was normal seeing that the two of them were a young married couple. But of course her mother was the one to tell her the delightful news, and that blew Okara's mind. She didn't expect to be pregnant, she actually thought about it happening later in their future but not now of all times. 

Being married it was normal for Okara to spend so much time with Bardock, it actually was very comforting to have him home a lot when he got back from a mission some where. He'd go out and more or less get a few cuts or bruises, but nothing ever life threatening. But now she was pregnant and would have to be telling him the news that she had gotten from her mother who was use to reading those signs. 

Morkoto and Okora were very thrilled to be grandparents just like her sisters were happy to have a little child to spoil in the future.  

The night rolled in comfortably, and Okara was back home where her and Bardock live together peacefully. She played with her fingers nervously as she thought of her words to say to Bardock when he was to come through that door. 

"I'm home, Okara."

Bardock's voice made her nervous and excited all at the same time, and as she looked at the door did he walk in with a bag over his left shoulder with his eyes closed. His face looked a little on the tired side, but he had been going out a lot to support the both of them. Hell, she couldn't thank him enough going out there to risk his life for them to have a stable living. He really was her everything at this point.

"Welcome home! I saw my family today!"
"Yeah, bet that was interesting."
"It was! I even discovered something!"
"Yeah?"

Okara looked at him smiling as he put the bag down on the floor with his eyes closed, he then looked at her with a normal aloof look though his eyes were kinder than they have ever been. Okara softly took a hold of his hand which made him raise his left eyebrow confused. "Okara?"

Without saying anything, Okara put his hand to her stomach and he made a funny face before blinking with his eyes wide. "Wait..?", he seriously was thinking hard about this.
"I'm pregnant!", smiled Okara happily.
"..!", Bardock made a bit of a baffled face. "Are you really..?"
"Yeah! My mother said that she can see the signs! That and she knows more about pregnancy than anyone else!"

Bardock's gaze shifted to the side in embarrassment, before closing his eyes with a bit of a smile. He then pulled her close into a hug, which surprised Okara who then happily hugged him back with a smile. Their family would be steadily growing!

The pregnancy was a little difficult but she managed well thanks to her family, and Bardock helped as well as best as he could. Before they knew it, a little boy was born. A healthy saiyan boy, which won his mothers heart the moment he entered the world. Bardock was of course pleased to have a family of his own, and seeing Okara smile really made him happy. Raditz was what their son was called, and that name fit him well considering that he smiled to his name. 

"He's going to be a handful!", smiled Okara who held their son close.
"I don't doubt it.", smirked Bardock. 
"Hopefully he has your strength when he is older!", grinned Okara as Bardock shook his head. 
"If he is our child he will be strong as well as stubborn as all hell."

Okara smiled narrowing her eyes, "That stubbornness he gets from you!"
"Tch, you're stubborn too.", smirked Bardock as he replied looking at his wife.

Few years later ~

"Dad! Dad! Dad! DAD!", smiled Raditz as he stands behind his father.
"...", Bardock had his eyes closed. He was really trying hard to ignore him.
"Dad I know you hear me!", grinned Raditz. "I see you twitching!"
"...", Bardock's eyebrow twitched in annoyance as Raditz continues talking.
"DAD!?! Tell me what you did today!?!"

Okara smiled at the two of them, seeing that it was always like this when Bardock comes back home from a mission. Raditz is so active and curious, he wants to know everything that his father does when he is out. Of course, Bardock doesn't want to talk about it seeing that he wants to take it easy when he gets home. So much for having peace and quiet, with an active son running about! 

"Bardock why don't you tell him?", asked Okara.
"Yay mom is on my side!", beamed Raditz laughing. 
Bardock looked at Okara with a face that says, "Why?" as his eyebrow twitches in increased annoyance. Okara smiled at Bardock in a pleading way, and Bardock heaved out a sigh as he looked at their son for he has given up on keeping it to himself. 

"Today I went to a planet, it seems we got some buyers interested in it.", spoke Bardock who looked at Okara only then to grunt as Raditz sat down in his lap with a big grin on his face. Bardock frowned a bit before closing his eyes and smirking a tad as he looked at his son who spoke out, "How much did you get!?!"
Okara sat down beside the two of them, as she smiled at her husband and son with great affection. 

She blinked however as Bardock wrapped his arm around her, as he continued to talk about his day and Okara couldn't help but lean into him and listen with a smile on her face.
