That night came quite quickly for the two, and it was to be expected since time never ever stops. Okara would have to wait and spend the night with Bardock later, considering that Shisho really did keep his word and told her parents everything that Bardock had said.
"OKARA!", yelled her father the moment that Okara and Bardock walked up to her door and to such yelling did Okara flinch with her right eye closed.
"Y-Yeah?", replied Okara nervously.
Bardock had his arms crossed with a bit of a baffled expression.
"Get in here!"
"Here goes nothing..?", nervously smiled Okara as she opened the door to her house with Bardock right behind her.
"THERE SHE IS!", chimed Leontine who all of a sudden glomped Okara the moment she entered.
Divya was walking up and slowly hugged Okara as well in a bit of a soft hug.
Bardock stood there with a cool expression as he watched the sisters hug it out before glancing to Okara's parents who were standing there watching the sibling affection.
"Bardock from what I gather you be serious about our daughter?", spoke Morkoto who was the tallest of the family for he stood at a strong height of 6'8. Okora was beside him, and was standing at 5'6 being some what shorter in her family.
"That's right.", replied Bardock seriously.
"I can see how serious you are, which leads me to believe that you made her yours already?"
"Dad!?!", yelled Okara flustered before making a funny face as Leontine hugged her while cooing, "Aw!?! Congratulations, you be a real lady now!?!" Okara rolled her eyes before looking at Divya who tilted her head asking, "How was it?"
"DIVYA!?!", yelled Okara beyond flustered.
Okora giggled at her daughters while Morkoto stared seriously at Bardock while Bardock did the same. Both of them were having a intense stare off while the ladies were busy talking and being their normal selves.
For years, the family knew of Bardock all due to the fact that Okara and him were very close friend wise. Okara for the most part was obsessed with him when she was younger and Bardock probably was the same way about her, for him to come around the house often with her. They trained, they talked, they hung out, everything that they did when they were younger was always done together. Morkoto was happy that his daughter had a good friend, but he expected it to end eventually. Considering that most guys got sick and tired of someone after spending so much time with them. This was never proven with Bardock however, and Morkoto had always wondered why they was. Perhaps, he was just being an overprotective father seeing that he told Okara to stay away from Bardock at times seeing that he didn't want her to get hurt.
Being so attached to someone would always hurt more when they left you. Morkoto had suffered something similar to it when he was younger.
"You got a lot of nerve doing that to my daughter.", grumbled Morkoto.
"Likewise, I know how you are.", replied Bardock with a serious glare.
Morkoto gave a brief smirk with his eyes closed. "Excuse me for being a overprotective father."
Bardock scoffed as his eyes narrowed more in response.
Morkoto was an elite saiyan warrior top of his class, for his black hair looked to be close to a lions mane for it was long and he had a matching beard to go along with it. With fierce blue eyes and a scar on the right side of his neck, many saiyans feared while looking up to Morkoto.
"I want my daughter to be happy with a worthy man who could keep her safe and happy. If you can't give her that, then I'll dispose of you myself.", the words from a father like this was a serious thing. The power behind such words would always intimidate guys who would dare try taking his daughters away from him and his protection.
"I assure you, I will make her happy. Hell, I'll keep her much safer than you ever could.", smirked Bardock which made Morkoto blink in a funny way before glaring.
Okara's expression was priceless for her father accepted Bardock while Leontine shook her with a giddy smile, "Looks like that settles it!"
Divya nodded with her arms crossed, "He be apart of the family."
Okora giggled as she walked to the kitchen, "I'll get dinner started!"
Bardock kept his smirk feeling confident about besting the elite warrior before blinking in surprise to Morkoto who smiled in a intimidating fashion. Having another saiyan male in the house has awakened his wrath. "Until you are married, Okara will not be spending the night with you. Besides, I'm sure you can manage!"
"WHAT!?!", barked Bardock with his eyes looking pissed off while Morkoto laughed in victory. "You heard me!"
Well he sort of accepted Bardock...
Okara looked at Bardock in a apologetic way while Bardock glared while crossing his arms and going, "HMPH!"
Okora had made everyone dinner, and everyone talked and enjoyed each other's company. Some what. Bardock and Morkoto were a different story for they challenged each other on who would eat what the fastest.
A few years later ~
The day of Okara's and Bardock's wedding came and usually some weddings were not all that big or extravagant but this weddings was definitely a bit bigger than a typical wedding that they would normally have. This was probably cause of Morkoto wanting to send his daughter off in a worthy style, that and to show off to Bardock about how much power he had.
"I will make Okara happy with everything that I have."
Those words from Bardock would be forever floating in her head. Never ever did she think that this would every happen to her, and to be honest she was extremely happy. Happier than she has ever been in her life.
Everyone knew of who was marrying, and they will forever speak of it to others for years to come as embarrassing as that was.
"You better keep your promise."
"Pfft, I will."
"If she comes home crying about something I'll take her away from you!"
"She won't. I assure you."
Okara was listening to her father and Bardock talking to one another, this kind of banter they had been doing ever since Shisho told them the news of Bardock wanting to marry Okara that day. She smiled cause she couldn't ask for anything more, for she had a loving family and a loving man who she was forever bonded too.
"I'm serious!"
"I'm serious too."
"Don't push me! A father's wrath is something be feared!"
"Heh, I've seen scarier aliens."
"YOU!?!"
"GUYS!"
Morkoto blinked along with Bardock as Okara got in between the two as she softly held her father's hand as well as Bardock's hand. "I'm extremely happy right now!"
Okara's smile was pure and genuine as she smiled at the two of them. "I'm so happy to have such strong guys like you!"
WAH!"
Okara was pulled into a strong hug by her husband Bardock, his head was over hers completely as he smirked at a glaring Morkoto. "Yeah but I bet you find me stronger than him huh?"
"BARDOCK!", exclaimed Okara who looked up at him annoyed only then to make a funny face as he kissed her in front of her father.
"So cute! I hope to find a strong saiyan male one day!", sighed Leontinue who had her hands on her cheeks sighing dreamingly.
"You're hopeless.", laughed Divya who looked at her older sister who was obviously dreaming of being married one day.
Together until death do us part. That is what was always said.
"I bet they will have three kids!", laughed Fasha to Toma who made Bardock flinch and look up with a red face. "Don't bet on how many kids we have!?!"
"I don't know? I bet they only have one?", chuckled Toma which made Bardock face palm. "Not you to Toma..."
Okara sort of laughed even though her face was as red as crimson.
This day she will never forget, that was for sure.
