The first thing Thomas saw when he woke up was a text from Lizzy saying "add my brother back on snapchat he's sulking."

Thomas opened the app, his heart jumping in his chest when he saw the boy did in fact add him as a friend. He quickly accepted it, ignoring how his heart rate picked up. It was almost like adding him back made everything more real, like before Newt was just a mere fantasy but now he had the actual option of texting him.

Thomas ran his hands through his hair. Why was he acting like this? He'd dated boys before, texted them before but even the mere thought of Newt sent chills down his spine and made his hands sweat.

Thomas was about to get out of bed when a snapchat from Newt came through. His heart immediately started pounding. Thomas groaned loudly before getting up and taking his shirt off. He was too hot and needed to clear his head. Thomas made a b line for the bathroom, taking his pants off in the process. He turned on the shower and tried to banish all thoughts of Newt from his brain.

Thomas got under the hot water, letting it run down his back. He succeeded in not thinking about Newt for an all of two seconds before his head was back to the blonde boy. Thomas groaned as pulled at his hair. He kept thinking about the snapchat, about what it could be. He shook his head as he grabbed his shampoo and put it in his hair. He thought about how good Newt looked in a jean jacket and how sometimes he pulled that stupid lip ring between his teeth and how Thomas wanted him to hold him down and- okay no.

"Fuck!" Thomas yelled as he threw his shampoo bottle down. Why was he acting like he'd never flirted with a boy before? He washed his hair and got out, wrapping a towel around his waist.

He got dressed, putting on a hoodie and jeans. He flopped back onto his bed, finally picking up his phone. He opened snapchat right away, feeling his heart flutter at the unopened message from Newt. He tapped on it, almost choking when he saw it was a picture of Newt's face. He was frowning in the picture and his hair was a complete mess which was kinda unfairly sexy. The caption said "when he adds your sister back before you <<<"

Thomas smiled as he opened the front camera and took a picture of himself looking off to the side with a caption "she got to me before you did" and a shrugging emoji.

He sent it then immediately over thought it. Newt replied almost immediately, it was a picture of him frowning again and it said "that bitch".

Thomas laughed and sent another picture of his face saying "I listened to your album last night."

Another almost immediate reply. This time it was of Newt's legs across Minho's lap. "And???"

Thomas replied with. "It's my new favorite."

Newt sent back a picture of him and Minho sticking out their tongues saying "that's what I like to hear".

Thomas didn't know what to respond so he just sent a picture of himself with a thumbs up. He got the notification a few seconds later that Newt screenshotted it then he got a chat from Newt.

Thomas tapped to open it, it said "so how about you give me your number? Or is that a Lizzy exclusive perk?"

Thomas smiled and typed out his number. A few minutes later a text from an unknown number came in, it was just a guitar emoji. Thomas laughed and added Newt as a contact.

Thomas felt insanely happy as he saved Newt's contact. He had Newt's number, Newt liked texting him, Newt screenshotted his selfie, Newt might like him.

Thomas resisted every single urge to jump on his cheap couch. He was overjoyed.

Another text came in from Newt saying "what are you up to?"
