Part 28 The icy glares

Tiffany kept brushing Jasmine's hair gently so to not harm her further then she has been hurt before now, Michelangelo was watching Jas the whole time as Kathleen came over with Veronica and Angela to see how she was as the punks came in to see her in worry of what happened just after school "Are you alright?" Rebel asked as M.C began looking her over "I'm fine... My hair was simply yanked on and I was drugged" she explained as Ghost found the very spot on her arm that the injection came in from but they were still worried for her even as she smiled to them.

"Is it really that big of a deal that your a dragon?" Veronica asked making Jas look down "It would need to be as there was a war that killed them but Jas" they all turned to Donatello as he walked over to them "I looked it up... You were just an egg when it happened" he said while looked at Jas as she looked away "My parents lied to me... Saying they were my parents... But then I found the shell pieces of my egg and I then knew they were lying to me" she explained making them all listen to her "So you ran away from them... Cause you knew they weren't really your parents" Swift said making her nod.

"They were waiting for me to show signs of being a dragon so that they could hide it from me and sell what they could... But I left before that happened and I try my best to make money" she explained then making them all nod while Angela looked pained towards her, but Jasmine wasn't done "When I first arrived here, I went for the library thinking maybe it would help me figure out who I am... And then I found out the truth, I was the last dragon alive, I could bring so much money simply by selling my scales... And I found out who my parents were from the very start" she said making them look at her confused "How?" Veronica asked "I meditated, with that I sensed the spirit of my parents and they told my my name so I made myself a new birth certificate to be under a new name and life" she explained then.

"But also to keep away the people who lied to you" Donnie said making her nod "If I go to the mayor... He could keep me safe but i'm sure he would want my scales or something" she said as Kathleen began doing her hair now that Tiffany was done brushing it, but now they were all worried about her "But your also the only one who can bring back your kind to life" Mikey said making Jasmine's eyes look darker... Almost like she knew her job and yet she didn't like it "I know that... But i'm not sure i'll be able to, I mean who knows if another war will happen once there are more" she said making them understand her worries now a bit better then before but now the question was how they save the dragons?

"For now let's just have Jas rest, it's bad enough people are now after her" Swift decided making them nod as Kathleen finished making Jasmine's hair into a messy bun, Jas didn't really like the idea of staying inside but... In order to be safe it was going to be something she would allow for now to happen until it was all over, she sighed as Mikey stood and went to the kitchen while Donnie told the others what she would need the most making the girls go out for some minor shopping while the guys went home to get her stuff "You'll be staying here until it's safe enough for you to come outside" Donnie said making her sigh but nod to his words, but on the other hand she would need to go out sometimes.

When they came back, the girls got to work on setting up a few things for Jas while the guys stayed at her side for the time being... Until they need to head home for school the next day, but Jas still hated the idea of staying inside at the moment and was planning to go out while they were at school for a bit so she waited until everyone was heading home or to bed while wondering what she would do while they were at school, her alarm woke her an hour after the Hamato went to school, Mikey of course left to see his therapist leaving her alone for now, she sighed as she got dressed and ate before walking to the elevator to get outside "Jasmine" she turned to see Splinter walking towards her.

To her surprise he handed her some money "Enjoy yourself, and try to be back before the others" he said as the door closed making her put the money in her wallet as she then walked out for some fun for herself, she began walking around the city in hopes of finding something fun to do at least in all of this... Of course it was hard since she was alone at the moment but she decided to keep on going "Hey you!" she turned to see to her shock... The purple dragons looking straight at her, she began to ran in fear of them while they ran after her without caring for what she wanted at all, she turned to an alley... A dead end for her but a victory for them, she was trembling in fear as she hoped for someone to help her as they got closer.

"Step away from her" she was surprised to see Angela... But her glare scared her as she then attack the trio "She is MINE!!!" she shouted as they ran away, Jas was still trembling but Angela simply focused on her condition of any injuries and saw none to her relief "Let's get you something to eat and drink" she said making Jas look at her in surprise but nodded, they ended up getting donuts and went back to the Hamato home before Mikey arrived 10 minutes later making Jas feel relieved about it... As Angela simply kept quiet about it as she brushed Jasmine's hair with a warm smile gracing her lips.
